You're not alone••••••••
Peter ran, he ran as fast as he could.
"They were ambushed."
His heart was pounding out of his chest.
"We don't know if anyone survived."
He felt sick.
"There were just too many of them."
He needed to find him.
"And Edmund?"
"We don't know..."He stopped dead when he arrived at the scene, a group of Narnians already helping the wounded and sorting out the fallen.
He looked everywhere, until he finally spotted his brother, slumped against a tree, a faun knelt in front of him.
He didn't waste a second and rushed over, the faun immediately moving out his way.
"Ed?" He murmured. "Ed you okay?"
Edmund glanced up at him, coughing a few times before nodding. "Yeah," He breathed. "Yeah I'm okay."
Peter didn't believe him for a second, so he turned questioning eyes on the faun.
"Broken ribs, major bruising to the back and shoulders, sprained ankle," The faun explained. "Knife laceration to the left arm. But considering the amount of people the group were ambushed by, it could've been a lot worse, his majesty did a good job of fending them off."
Edmund grinned weakly at Peter. "See," He whispered. "I can take care of myself."
Peter sighed. "Yeah well, you're not alone now so let me help you yeah?" He suggested.
Edmund nodded a little. "Yeah, a little help could be nice." He breathed.
"Lucy's here somewhere with her cordial-"
"Nope." Edmund said quickly. "I'm not about to die, I'll heal naturally okay?"
Peter looked unsure.
"I mean it Peter." Edmund reassured him. "I'm gonna be alright."
Peter sighed. "You better be." He muttered. "Or I'll make you regret."
Edmund chuckled weakly, being as careful as he could not to aggravate his broken ribs. "Thanks for coming." He whispered.
"Of course," Peter replied with a gentle smile.
