Is this the end?

"Is this the end?!"

Susan glanced up, raising an eyebrow slightly.

Edmund stared at the book in his hands, almost glaring at it. "That cannot be the end." He muttered.

Susan couldn't help but laugh a little. "It's a wild ending." She said.

"Have you read it?" Edmund asked her.

Susan nodded. "I have." She said. "There's two more in the series."

Edmund looked up at her quickly. "Well thank Aslan for that otherwise that would've been just plain cruel."

Susan smiled at him. "Library, third bookcase back, second shelf, somewhere in the middle." She told him.

Edmund smirked. "The fact you know that is worrying." He said.

Susan just shrugged. "Well it was a good series." She said.

She watched as Edmund left the room, hearing him muttering something about loving the fantasy stories in Narnia almost as much as the ones in England, and couldn't help but laugh, after all, Edmund and books was a bond that could never and would never be broken.
