I can't walk•••••••
"Yeah, this isn't gonna work."
Edmund practically collapsed against the wall, sighing as he sat down.
"Two more streets Ed," Peter told him, letting him go and just standing there watching him. "You sure you can't make it."
"I can't walk!" Edmund exclaimed.
Peter hesitated. "Maybe you'll stop climbing trees now." He muttered.
Edmund smirked. "Not likely."
"You nearly broke your bloody leg." Peter pointed out.
"Nearly being the key word there." Edmund told him with a small shrug.
Peter sighed. "I'm gonna have to carry you home aren't I?" He said.
"Absolutely not." Edmund said quickly.
"Well if you can't walk how else are you gonna get home?" Peter asked.
Edmund stared up at him.
"Come on," Peter breathed. "It's dark, there's no one about, no one will see."
Edmund rolled his eyes. "Can't I just try walking again?" He asked.
Peter raised an eyebrow. "Is there really much point?" He questioned.
Edmund clearly tried to think of a valid answer, but in the end he couldn't, so he just sighed. "Fine."
Peter just chuckled softly.
