Raindrops on roses•••••••
Lucy stared at the roses she had been tending to, gently sorting out their petals as the rain slowly began to fall from the dark sky.
She stared at the red flowers for a moment.
Her first thought wasn't negative, despite the fact that it was raining on her whilst she was doing her gardening.
In fact, what she thought was quite the opposite to negative.
She couldn't help but admire how beautiful the roses looked, stood there as the raindrops dripped off the end of their petals.
She smiled to herself, glancing away from the flowers and up to the sky, blinking to keep the water from her eyes.
It wasn't long though before she heard her sister's voice calling her to come inside before she caught a cold, and chuckled.
"Oh I'm fine Susan," She breathed. "Stop fussing."
But she did still return to the house, well intending to continue her gardening later.
