June 4th
Seems like forever•••••••••
"Seems like forever ago doesn't it?"
Edmund glanced at his sister, who was staring at a little lamppost charm on one of her bracelets.
He nodded a little, sitting down on the edge of the bed next to Lucy. "Yeah." He murmured.
Lucy was quiet for a moment before she continued talking. "When do you reckon we'll go back?" She sighed.
Edmund took a deep breath, but whatever he was going to say was cut off by Aunt Alberta screaming his name from downstairs.
He glared at the door. "Well whenever it is I hope it's bloody soon." He grumbled. "I can't take much more of living here, I'm gonna end up killing someone."
Lucy chuckled softly. "What do you think she wants now?" She questioned.
Edmund rolled his eyes. "Eustace has probably gone blabbing to her about something I didn't do." He muttered. "He seems to be doing that a lot lately."
"Stuff you didn't do?" Lucy asked, eyebrow raised.
Edmund shrugged. "Fine, most of it I didn't do." He said. "But if he doesn't want me after him then he shouldn't leave his bloody bugs out of their jars in the middle of the night. I don't like waking up to find grasshoppers on my face."
Lucy laughed. "I don't think anybody sane would like that." She said.
"Yeah, and that's what makes Eustace completely insane." Edmund sighed.
Another scream of his name.
"Yeah yeah." He muttered under his breath. "I'm coming keep your hair on."
