His fists close in apprehension, watching every single move of the other person in the kitchen. Her hair swings as she goes side to side, taking new ingredients to put on the counter. For the first time since they agreed on getting married, he found himself being nervous around her.

Their marriage had been a deal between their families. Despite sounding like a terrible thing to the others, they were already aware of it since a long time ago, and they were not against it when it came to the day. The first time Kun saw her, his eyes laid on her for a few seconds. So, that's the woman who would marry him. She had a calm gaze, and a soft voice which matched perfectly with her shy smile.

In the same way, her eyes glanced at him, also investigating the face of her future unknown husband. An elegant man who was very coveted between the suitors. He had an imposing presence, but a gentle gaze while focusing on the conversation. His broad shoulders suited perfectly with his enviable posture, until she deviates her eyes from him, starting to feel nervous.

The families were happy, and at some point, she and Kun were finding a way to live with each other in a peaceful way, without, although, growing a romantic relationship. It was like business. A good deal for all of them, until it starts to change.

Kun was the only one who could watch her days, and with time, he realized he was more and more intrigued by her. He didn't want it to be just... business. He wanted to really try to make it... a marriage, just like it already is, but just on that piece of paper.

He feels his hand sweating. He didn't know how she would react, but he wanted to... get closer to her. She is always so distant, so focused in her own world, and so beautiful. Still staring at her in the kitchen, he lets his eyes scan her, head to toe. That robe she is wearing, all worked in silk fabric is his favorite, but she didn't know it, because he never told her.

His heart was beating fast. Running, to say the least. He had never touched her in an intimate way. He had never kissed her lips. Would she move him away? Would she be grossed out? He sighs deeply feeling completely ridiculous. He didn't know when he became so coward, specially about a woman. But she was different, and he knew that. She seemed unreachable and fragile like a porcelain glass. Not because she was weak, but because he felt like a single wrong move could destroy all that peace he had built around her. Even though, he couldn't hold it back anymore. He wanted to try it out. It was stronger than him.

Walking closer to the counter, he pretends to have something to do there while she cuts the vegetables. He turns his head, staring at her back as his fingers tap anxiously the counter. She glances at her shoulders, feeling his presence close to her, reaching for a grape inside the bowl in front of her.

His chest touches her shoulder, and she feels his heat on her skin. He was so close that his cologne travels to her nose like a steam. The smell she feels every day when he comes back home, and which she personally loves. He takes the grape to his mouth, watching minutely her actions. She continues to cut the vegetables, without signs of strangeness or rejection to the sudden contact, but it was not enough. He wanted more.

His heart was slamming the wall of his chest when he touched her forearm. She stops, not looking at him, feeling his touch caressing her with thumb, looking at her from above. He never touched her like this. It was a different kind of touch. It was gentler. She could feel each centimeter of it, and it immediately made her heartbeats race.

His breathing was heavily inside his lungs. She didn't move him away, so he gets bold enough to lower his face, placing a slight peck on her shoulder. It's everything so silent that it's screaming. He desperately wants to know what she is thinking. Should he stop? Is this too much? Does she want this kind of interaction between you two?

She turns around, looking up at his eyes. His intentions were clear. This type of touch is universal, and also was her gaze towards him. He was finally making a move after so long. She thought he had no interest in her since she was chosen for him, and not by him. He never demonstrated affection, until today.

Their face are just some inches apart. His eyes run by her face, contemplating her details, going from her eyes to her lips. His hand goes to her chin, slowly caressing her jaw. His face hesitantly comes closer to hers, and she closes her eyes, feeling him kissing the edge of her lips. He was testing her, but no rejection was seen. On the contrary, her hand holds onto the hem of his shirt as goosebumps flow by her body.

Pulling her by the waist, he couldn't contain the excitement inside him. So, she was thinking the same as him. It's not like he can't treat her as his woman. Her body is glued on him, and their breathing becomes one. Noses brush on each other with expectation. Lips half-open, burning in heat for it to happen. Eyes darkened and unfocused. Hearts pumping blood like crazy. All of it exploding when they close the gap between them.

Just like that, the perfect puzzle pieces. The one in a million chemistry. It's so warm and smooth. Impossible to believe that with a just a kiss, they could feel so much. And what started with hesitation, became natural, and then demanding. They move against each other, getting more and more connected. Her hands climb to his nape, playing and messing with his hair, and his go up her waist, putting her between him and the counter as he pushes himself against her.

He leans with a hand on the counter, trying to keep his balance without breaking the kiss. It feels feral, and the best thing he ever did. Feeling her gasping for air in his lips and her body arching in his hands. That's what he wanted.

She pulls away, hearing a complaining sigh from him, still searching for her lips. Their gazes meet once again, now totally different from some minutes ago, and he kisses her cheek, staring at her eyes each time, going down to her neck and collarbone. His open-mouthed kisses make her bite her lip, holding back a moan until he stops, looking at her again. Their eyes looked like trying to understand what had just happened. He was a mess. A very handsome mess. And she was shocked in her stomach butterflies, looking like a goddess.

The marriage, now, has just started.
