She got there, almost stumbling in her own feet, asking herself mentally what was she doing there. In reality, it's useless to try to conciliate her mind with her heart in this moment. Her mind was only questioning all the decisions she had made so far, telling her all the negative ends that could happen. Meanwhile, her heart was the one in control, dragging her across that park, making sure to get her there as fast as she could. She just knew she must meet him.

Finally, after long minutes of bus and walking (cursing herself for having left her car at home), she sees his figure standing in the middle of the field. Her heartbeats went to the moon and back. It was like she had met him after 10 years, even if she had seen him just yesterday, but it was not about time. It was about decision.

-Jaehyun!

Her voice comes out failing, panting, and Jaehyun turns around. His eyes widen in surprise while he takes his hands out of his pockets. Both of them paralyzed as a heavy wind shakes the dandelions in the ground, making a white sheet of dandelion petals fly between them. It was the most beautiful view they had ever seen.

-I thought you wouldn't come. - He breaks the silence after some seconds, and she gulps, deviating her gaze. - I almost went away after 2 hours, but... I wanted to believe that if I waited just one more minute, you would show up. One more minute, and then one more minute, and then one more minute. - He jokes, and she weakly chuckles, slowly walking closer.

-Sorry for the wait. I needed time to think about... everything. But, to be honest, I haven't got anywhere. - She says, mumbling some words to herself, and he nods, breathing in deeply.

-Maybe that's the problem. You want to get somewhere without taking a step first. - Jaehyun shrugs, and she scoffs. Just with that small phrase, he hit right on the weak spot, and the worst is that she knows he is right.

-I took many steps with you. - She says, but he shakes his head.

-No. You stayed at your place. I was the one to walk closer to you. I was ready to cross mountains and oceans with you. Since the first time I saw you. - He says, taking a step closer, but she takes a step back.

-It's not that easy. For me. I'm afraid, Jaehyun. I'm afraid to cross all these mountains just to be left behind alone in the end. You don't understand. Some things in life we can risk and nothing will happen. We can move on if it goes wrong. But some other things can... break us completely. Do you get what I mean? - She says desperately, looking at his eyes, trying to transfer to him what her feelings were. - You are... the only one who would break me completely. I wouldn't recover if you left me behind. - Her eyes get teary, shining with the reflex of the stars, and he gets speechless. Now he got it. It's not that she doesn't want to risk it because she doesn't love him. She doesn't want to risk because she loves him more than anyone else.

She looks up, trying to prevent tears from falling. She knew it would happen. A tough confrontation. She didn't want to show this side to anyone, but now it's flowing out from her body, slipping through her lips.

Feeling something touching her hand, she flinches, but sees his warm touch on the tip of her fingers, slowly surrounding them. She looks at his eyes and they have that same gaze of usual. A calm one, full with love and comprehension, which never failed to make her fall in love.

-I would never give up on you, Y/n. I would never leave you behind. I want to be your safe place. I want to be your home. I don't know how to prove it more to you. Tell how I can do it and I will do it. - She feels his hand caressing hers, squeezing it tightly.

Her heart is beating so fast, as if she was seeing a bridge above a deep abyss that she had to cross to get to him.

-There will be hard times. I can't tell you there won't. - He says in a low tone. - But I can promise you that no matter what, I will never let go of your hand. And I also want you to promise me you won't let go of me. I don't want to be the only one taking steps. I want you to walk by my side. - He says frankly. - So, what's your answer?

That's it. She must decide. A flashback of events come to her mind, remembering all their time together, and being very honest, did she not give herself to him already? Was there even any more to risk since he is where she found happiness? Was she really satisfied with her life without him? No, she wasn't. He was already a part of her. He has been there all this time in shape of memories and an eternal ''what if''.

Suddenly, Jaehyun sees her getting closer, finally taking the step she had to, throwing herself in his arms. Incredibly, it felt perfect like never before. His arms involved her in a warm hug, and she was secure. Her face laid on his collarbone, smelling again his sweet essence as he dived in the strands of her hair. There were no more gaps between them. Physically and emotionally.

Hours later, she was there again, waking up by his side. Their legs tangled under the blankets and his arm resting on her waist. It was inevitable to end like that. She missed him so much. How could she even think on giving up on this feeling? But now, looking up at his sleeping face, her heart was full with peace.

Raising her hand, she touches his face, slightly caressing the skin of his cheek, admiring how handsome he looked, and all for her. His eyes slowly open, and a smile grows on his lips, bringing back that cute dimple he has. He doesn't waste time and leans forward, sealing her lips with his. She had forgot how his morning kisses were so good, and at the same time a dangerous way to keep her in bed longer. Silly giggles start to appear as he pulls her closer by the leg, caressing her tight.

-Wanna marry me? - He says between her lips, and she pauses, laying on his chest again. Taking a deep breath, she nods, leaving kisses on his skin.

-Yes, I do. - She says and feels him pecking her heard tightly.

Suddenly turning around, leaving her a little confused, he opens the drawer beside his bed, taking that little box of years ago, with the same ring he had bought for her. Taking her hand, he slides the ring through her finger, and she looks at it lovingly.

-Sorry for taking so long to overcome my fear. I don't deserve you, Jae. I have many flaws. I know that. I wished I hadn't. But I love you. And I will make sure to do my best to fight for us every day. - She says, looking at the ring. Jaehyun smiles, taking a hand to her chin, pulling it up to look at him.

-What flaws? You have no flaws, my love. You're perfect as you are. Every little piece of you. I wanna love you entirely. You don't need to be afraid of showing yourself to me. Tell me everything. Right from the start, until the end of it. I wanna see every scar of your hardest battles, every bruise, and kiss them until they heal. I wanna wake up with you, and sing your favorite love song while looking at your eyes. You can call me crazy. Yeah, I know I'm obsessed with the idea of loving you. But I wanna know everything that there's to know about you. Don't you dare leaving nothing out. - He says intensely, making her out of breath. - I wanna love you completely.
