Chapter 60

- May 7th 1976 -

Y/N's POV

Yesterday me and Alan had an amazing date. We had a lot of fun and the food we had was so good. We saw a real cool movie too when we went to the drive in. Today me and Derek would be hanging out. We have also not spent too much time together since Alan left the group. Besides living together it it is one thing to be in the same house but not hanging out when it comes to activities.

"I think it is nice you and Derek are going to  hang out today," Alan said as he kissed my cheek.

"It is going to be nice since we haven't gone out and done anything in a bit of time," I said.

"Well he has been busy doing his thing and you have been doing yours," Alan said.

"I know," I said.

"I think you guys should hang out more," Alan said.

"Well we could but I think the boys are going to be going off to do shows again soon," I said.

"Mmm, true. That will leave us here with the house if we don't go with them," Alan said.

"Well I don't think I could take that much time off of work. I mean they used to work with me but with the management shift it is kind of totally different now," I said.

"I know," Alan said.

"I think the management has never been so strong but there is nothing I can really ask for," I said.

"I mean I get it," Alan said.

"I think it is kind of nice to be under this you know but sometimes it is kind of nervous talking to the boss," I said.

"But you are strong and independent which is why you are making it so far up the line," Alan said.

"Yeah, so it is going to be hard if we wanted to go off with the boys. I mean you could go with them if you want to since you know Derek is your brother," I said.

"I might but I would miss you too much my love," Alan said as he looked at me.

"I know but you would miss your brother when he is out on tour too wouldn't you?" I asked.

"Well yes but then again I am kind of busy in the studio now I think about it," Alan said.

"Y/N ARE YOU READY CAUSE I AM WAITING FOR YOU," Derek shouted up the stairs.

"You better not keep him waiting," Alan said with a chuckle.

"I know my love," I said as I pecked his lips.

"I will see you later baby," Alan said as he smiled.

"I love you," I said.

"I love you too," Alan said.

I went downstairs and met with Derek.

"It took you long enough," Derek said.

"She takes forever to get ready," Eric said.

"Would you shut up?" I asked as I looked at Eric.

"I will geez," Eric said with a chuckle.

Alan came downstairs.

"Y/N just told me to shut up," Eric said as he looked at Alan.

"Why did she tell you to shut up?" Alan asked.

"Cause I said she takes forever to get ready," Eric said.

Alan chuckled.

"Bye kids," I said as I walked out the door.

"Byee," Derek said as he followed.

"So where are we heading out to?" I asked.

"I was thinking we could go fishing. And then if we catch anything we could come back home and grill the fish," Derek said.

"Sounds like a good plan," I said.

"I think fishing is a lot of fun," Derek said with a bit of a smile.

"Me too," I said.

"Lets go then," Derek said.

We soon got in the car and headed down to the place we would be fishing at.

"It has been quite some time since we have had fish," I said.

"Well let's just hope we have some luck when it comes to catching some things," Derek said.

"I think we will have some fun and some luck," I said.

We got out of the car once we arrived to the fishing place.

"I think this is going to be nice," Derek said.

We pulled the stuff out of the car and set up where we would be fishing at.

"It has been some time since we have done anything with fish," I said.

"You are the only person I can hold a conversation for this long talking about fish," Derek said with a chuckle.

"Well we are fishing so it is kind of the whole point," I said.

We fished for a bit of time and caught quite a bit of fish. We had enough to feed us and of course the rest of the guys. By this time a couple of hours had gone by.

"Wow that was quite nice. We caught so much fish," Derek said.

We put the fish in the car in the container we stored it in.

"I think it is crazy," I said.

"The car is not going to smell too good for now," Derek said with a chuckle.

"If we leave the doors open to the car it should air out once we take out the fish," I said with a chuckle.

We got back in the car.

"Yeah, this is going to be taking some time to get the smell out," Derek said.

We headed back to the house after a bit more time went by.

"Are you going to grill it or did you want Alan to?" I asked.

"I think me and Alan could both grill it," Derek said.

"Sounds like a plan," I said.

"We should do this more often and maybe invite the guys to come out with us," Derek said.

"Well you guys are going to be doing some pop up dates here and there right?" I asked.

"Yeah and then come August we are going to be in America and in Canada," Derek said.

"I think that sounds like a lot of fun," I said.

"It is going to be a lot of fun which is exciting," Derek said.

"You guys are getting to go a lot of places now," I said.

"Oh of course since the band has taken off quite a bit," Derek said.

We walked inside the door.

"Man you guys smell," Woody commented.

"Well thank you we appreciate it," Derek said with a chuckle.

Eric took the fish from us.

"We are going to shower don't worry," Derek said as he went upstairs into his room.

"You guys did good," Eric said as he brought the fish into the kitchen.

"Yeah," I said.

"See you after your shower my love," Alan said with a chuckle.

"Yeah," I said as I went into the bedroom.

Soon I was showered and so was Derek. We met with the boys in the kitchen to take care of the fish before popping them onto the grill.
