Y/N's POV

The boys were on tour already and again. I think it is nice how often they are able to do these tours throughout different places and are able to see new things. Alan has been doing some of the same things but of course not as a group. This time it was the New Zealand and Australia tour which was interesting. They promised to tell us all about the things they get to see.

"I know you have been so busy with school and work lately baby. And I just want to say I am so proud of you," Alan said as he looked at me.

We were in the bedroom getting ready for the evening. We had both showered already.

I looked at him.

"Thank you my love. It means a lot to me when you say those kinds of things," I said with a bit of a smile.

"And I am always going to be so proud of you," he said with a smile.

"And I am so proud of you for all of the things you have accomplished and are going to accomplish," I said.

"Come here," Alan said as he opened his arms for me.

He was laying down on the bed. I went over to him and laid down in his arms.

"I always think so much when the boys go off you know? We have so much time to ourselves even during the times we are so busy. But when we are home it is so quiet you know," he said as he wrapped his arms around me.

"It does leave us with a lot of time to be with each other. But also a lot of time to think so yes I know what you are talking about," I said.

"Do you ever wonder where we might be in the next 5 or 10 years?" he asked.

"Of course. I wonder about those kind of things all of the time. I just hope I am doing something good and or successful you know," I said.

"And me too you know," he said.

"I know we will be doing such amazing things but it is kind of hard to think about what we could be doing by then," I said.

"It is kind of far in the future. Maybe we should not be worried about the future so much," he said.

"I mean maybe but it is kind of hard not to think about those kind of things. It is kind of like they are always there looking you back in the eye," I said.

"And here you are looking at me like this right now," he said as he turned me to look at him.

"Mmm, true and you are so handsome," I said as I pecked his lips.

"I deserve a real kiss," he said with a chuckle.

I kissed him and he returned the kiss.

"It is also so weird without one of the guys just walking into the room and being like hey," I said with a chuckle.

"Well get used to it you know by this time next year we will be in our house," I said.

"I know but the boys will always be coming over," he said.

"It is going to be interesting for sure," I said as I laid my head back on his chest.

"I am so glad the holidays are about to be here. It means it is almost time to put up decorations for Christmas," he said.

"I think decorating is one of the most fun parts about the holiday. But then again I like to bake for the holidays too," I said.

"I still cannot believe Les's birthday is over with already too," he replied.

"I know. It does seem as though it was just yesterday," I said.

"I know," he said.

"Well what do you want to talk about or do we want to plan on going to sleep?" I asked.

"I am not too tired right now so maybe if we just read or watch tv it could be good. I did get this new book not too long ago that I have been loving," he said.

"Ooo really?" I asked.

"Yeah, if you would let me grab it real quick?" he asked.

I moved over on the bed and he grabbed the book. He then laid back down beside me.

"I don't think we have read a book like this in quite a bit of time you know," I said.

"I know most of the time we are busy or just too tired when we come to bed," he said.

"What time is it anyways?" I asked.

"It is only a little bit before 8," he replied.

"Ohh, maybe that is kind of why we are not tired yet," I said with a chuckle.

"At this point it seems like out of the two of us you are the one who is always tired," he said.

"Well you do have a point," I said.

"I think it is because you do work and you do school. So it is kind of like a double whammy on you," he said.

"Mmm, true but you work just as hard as me," I said.

"But in different ways. Anyways, should we begin the book? I have not started it yet so this is going to be us starting the book together," he said.

"I think it would be nice," I said.

He laid his head on my chest and began to read the book out loud.

A couple of hours would go by and we would have took turns reading the book. By now it was almost 11 and we put the book away.

"I did not realize we had been reading for that long," Alan said as he looked at the clock then back at me.

"Me neither. That book was quiet interesting though," I said as I yawned.

Alan proceeded to yawn after me.

"I think now would be a good time for us to think about getting some sleep," he said.

"I think so too," I said as I pecked his lips.

He smiled a little.

"I think these kinds of nights are some of my favorites. We aren't doing much just spending time doing something we love together," he said.

"I think so too," I said.

Soon enough we both got comfortable and went off to sleep.
