Y/N's POV

It was now October and Alan had just gotten back from the couple of shows he had done out in Italy. He has been going out to do shows more often which is nice. His career is really taking off and people are seeing as an individual and not just someone from Bay City Rollers. He was worried about this at first but he is being seen for who he is.

"I am so tired. I know it was not a lot of shows but it is kind of a lot when you have not been doing many shows before now," Alan said as he sat down on the couch.

"But I am proud of you. You have done so many amazing shows in such a short time period," I said.

"I know. It is quite exciting to be able to do this kind of thing in life. I kind of always was nervous about being a solo artist after being in the band I came up with but you know," Alan said.

"You have made it work. And so many people love you for who you are," I said.

"And that is one of my favorite parts of the whole thing," he said.

Derek soon walked in the front door.

"Hey guys," Derek said as he looked at us.

"Hey brother," Alan said.

"Hey Derek. How is going?" I asked.

"Just stopped by to see how you guys are doing. I know you both have been busy so I thought I would come by to visit," Derek said as he sat down on the couch next to us.

"I am so glad you could come by. I have so many things to tell you about," Alan said as he turned to face Derek.

"I know we have not been apart for long but it does kind of feel like we have not caught up recently," Derek said.

"I know which is kind of one of those things. We get to talk about all of the amazing things I have been up to," Alan said.

"And I have been up to some amazing things too," Derek said.

"Well who should go first?" Alan asked.

"You should since the things I have to say are not as interesting I would guess," Derek said with a chuckle.

I sat back to listen to the two of them chit chat about life. I always thought it was interesting to hear the kinds of things they would talk about and discuss.

"Well I have had a couple of concerts as you know which have been in Italy. It was so weird being away from Y/N but I think she did okay without me. Did you?" Alan asked as he looked at me.

"Well of course I missed you but I knew you had to," I said.

"And I came by to check on her don't forget," Derek said.

"Oh that is true. I did kind of forget you two hung out while I was gone," Alan said.

"I should have gone with you now I think of it," Derek said.

"I thought you said you could not because you guys were in the studio writing?" Alan asked.

"Oh yes. I kind of forgot about that. We have all been so busy it is kind of hard to remember everything we did day to day," Derek said.

"Anyways so the trips were interesting seeing how Italy was," Alan said.

"Is Italy as beautiful as people make it seem?" Derek asked.

"Well of course. But it is kind of hard to understand the language. The language is beautiful but it is not something that is like second nature," Alan said with a chuckle.

"Oh of course not. I have heard the language and it is quite beautiful," Derek said.

"I think it is cool and I think we should try to learn how the language goes. It seems like it is kind of similar to Spanish but it is not you know?" Alan commented.

"Right. We should learn one of those two when it comes to languages," Derek said.

"I think it would be fun for you two to learn the languages. Whichever one you would pick," I said.

"Do you think it would be sexy for me to talk in one of those?" Alan asked with a chuckle.

"I am not going to be answering that," I said with a chuckle.

"Oh so you must think it would be," Derek said as he looked at me.

"Continue your conversation. I am going to walk out of here so you two can chit chat," I said.

"Noo you are going to stay in case I miss any details," Alan said.

"Well you are not going too much into the things you did," Derek said.

"Well I brought you guys back a couple of things which you saw. I had a lot of fun with the shows though since I was able to perform in front of so many people," Alan said.

"I think it is nice to be in front of so many people don't you?" Derek commented.

"Well yes and no. I am not the kind of person to like being in front of a lot of people," Alan said.

"I know but you have gotten so much better which is something I am so proud of you for," Derek said.

"Well of course me too," I said with a bit of a smile.

"I think it is nice to think about being  the reason for people to smile," Alan said.

"It is huh?" Derek commented.

"Yeah. I love to see so many people smile," Alan said..

"I love seeing people smile too," Derek said.

They went on to talk for quite a bit more of time at one point I left and returned. At this point a couple of hours had gone by with just brother chit chat.

"I should be thinking of heading out now," Derek said.

"Alright then," Alan said.

I came back into the living room from the kitchen with some tea.

"I am heading out Y/N," Derek said.

"Aww, alright then you be safe on the road home," I said.

"I will," Derek said.

"It was nice to see you man," Alan said with a smile.

"You too," Derek said with a smile.

Soon Derek left and I sat down on the couch with Alan.

"I think we should go upstairs with this tea you have made us," Alan said as he looked at me.

"Alright then," I said as I looked back at him.

We soon went into the bedroom with our tea and enjoyed a night in together.
