Chapter 65

- June 15th 1976 -

Y/N's POV

I was off of work today and chose to visit Alan at the studio. He was currently working on his new and upcoming album. It would be his first solo album and I was so excited for him. I picked him up some lunch on the way so he could have a nice lunch. I don't think he took anything with him.

I knocked on the door to the studio and the door opened. It was one of the owners of the studio.

"Come on in," the guy spoke.

I walked inside.

"Where is Alan?" I asked.

"Follow me this way," the guy spoke.

He brought me to the room Alan was working in and I walked in. His eyes shifted to me.

"Baby, hii," Alan said as he smiled looking at me.

"Hi my love. I hope I am not disrupting anything. I just stopped by to say hi and to bring you some lunch," I said.

"You made it just at the right time. It was about to be time for us to eat," Alan said.

"Are you hungry?" I asked.

"You better believe it," he said.

I handed him over his food. I also had brought some for the guy he was working with. I handed him the food as well.

"How sweet of you to think about him too," Alan said.

"Well of course," I said with a bit of a smile.

"Thank you," the guy said.

"Anytime. How is everything going?" I asked.

"Everything is going good and it is coming together just like I was hoping it would be," Alan said.

"I am glad everything is working out," I said.

"It is always kind of a worry when it comes to working on music like this since it is kind of work until you get it right," Alan said.

Alan and his music partner began to eat their food.

"Aren't you going to eat with us?" Alan asked.

"Well no I am going to be heading home again and eating," I said.

"Ah, okay. How are the boys doing? Are they in the studio too or are they at home?" Alan asked.

"They got back a bit of time ago. They did not have much to get done in the studio which they were happy about," I said.

"They are prepping for a tour again soon huh?" Alan asked.

"Yeah, but it is not going to be for quite a bit of time," I said.

"I think it is nice for them to be working on those kinds of things. Soon enough I will have music out to be able to think about doing a tour of mine," Alan said.

"I am excited for all the things you are going to be doing soon. And all of the things in the works right now," I said.

"It is all happening so fast I don't know how to make it all slow down," he said.

"Isn't it what you wanted? For everything to go kind of quick and to just ride it out?" I asked.

"Of course my love. This is all so wonderful," he said.

We talked for a bit of time until they finished their food. Soon I headed back to the house and inside.

"Y/N is back guys," Eric said as he looked at me walk in the door.

"Is this your guys way of pulling some kind of prank on me?" I asked as I went into the living room.

"Well no it is not. I was kind of just saying you was here and how we should greet you," Eric said with a chuckle.

"Hey Y/N. How is Alan doing? I know you said he was at the studio today," Woody said.

"Oh he is doing good. He has a lot of fun things he is working on and planning out so it is going to be a lot of fun," I said.

"How does it feel to be dating a superstar?" Derek asked.

"Oh it is an amazing feeling. He is so amazing but you guys kind of already know that," I said.

"Well of course Alan is kind of my brother after all," Derek said with a chuckle.

"Yeah. But it is quite nice to see him so happy you know? Like seeing him happy is one of my favorite things. When he is happy I am too," I said.

"How come you never talk much about your family?" Les asked.

"Okay, random," I said.

"Oh sorry I was just thinking about it. You never do seem to talk much about them," Les said.

"They are not always around. I mean there is not much to talk about when it comes to them you know?" I commented.

"She has family but they are not as close as like me and Alan," Derek said.

"Have we met them before?" Les asked.

"Yes, a couple of times you guys have. I thought it was quite nice when we all met them," Woody said.

"How come you recall and I do not?" Les asked.

"I just pay attention a little bit more than you do?" Woody asked.

"Oh you know what? I do remember now," Les said.

"What time is Alan going to be home?" Woody asked.

"Oh he should be home in the next couple of hours. He did not give me a specific time," I said.

"Oh fun," Eric said.

"How is Ian doing?" I asked.

"Oh he is doing good. He is having a lot of fun and we met with him today in the studio," Eric said.

"I think one of these days we should ask him to move in with us but that would be when you and Alan move out," Les said.

"I think it is going to be a bit of time before we move out," I said.

"I know but still. And of course we will be not here for quite some time so probably after," Woody said.

"I think it is nice to think about how many places we are going to see," Derek said.

"I am excited for you guys," I said.

I headed up into the bedroom and did a couple of things in the bedroom. I eventually sat down with a book and began to read which turned into me reading for a couple of hours.

I always enjoyed a good book even though most of my job was reading. I enjoyed reading for fun.
