Y/N's POV
The boys had been home for a couple of days. It had been fun hanging out with them and it is nice to think about how they are going to be doing more tours in several other places. Me and Alan had been on the farm and doing other things in regards to our work. It was a lot of fun to be able to do the work I do. As for Alan he has officially signed a record deal! He is going to be able to put out some solo music of his own soon.
"I am so excited to have my own record deal," Alan said as he smiled at me.
"I know I am so proud of you my love," I said as I pulled him over to me.
"You know if it was not for you this would not have been possible," he said.
"This had nothing to do with me my love. This was all you," I said with a smile.
"But you gave me advice and helped me get out there," he said as he softly kissed me.
I returned the kiss and looked at him.
"I am just so proud of you and happy for you. Gosh," I said.
"I know me too. This is going to be opening the doors to so many amazing things for us," he said.
"Do you think you would go out on a solo tour?" I asked.
"I am not too sure. I think it could be also me opening up for the boys at some point. I just do not know if it is going to be giving off the wrong image," he said.
"I mean I do not think it is going to give off the wrong image. I think it could be good because people would know you and be able to see your solo work," I said.
"Well and of course it is going to be a bit of time before it even comes to that," he replied.
"Well right but it is going to be interesting to see how everything goes," I said.
"I am excited for all of the new things to be working on. Music of my own and the things I love to do," he said.
"I know you kind of felt like you were out of place in the group," I said.
"And with this I can show the image I want to give off you know. I have nothing to be tied to besides like old images but you know this is the new one of me," he said.
"I know. Some people see people they once knew from a certain thing and begin to follow them again," I said.
"I hope the music I put out does well for many reasons," he said.
"I know it is going to be so good my love. I am excited to see the songs you write and come up with," I said.
"Well I have been working on some already and I am glad with how they are going," he said.
"That is amazing my love. How soon do you want to come out with your first single?" I asked.
"I don't know but as soon as I am fully proud of one of the songs," he replied.
We sat down on the couch.
"I think it is nice how you are coming up with unique pieces," I said.
"I think it is cool how I am able to come up with these creative ideas on my own. Of course being in the studio with other people they give off ideas but," he said.
"I know. I think it is cool you get to work with other artists," I said.
"I know. I always thought about working with other artists while being on the group. I mean I liked how the group worked and all but it is nice to be inspired by others," he said.
"Well in the group you guys would bounce ideas off of one another right?" I asked.
"Well yeah but mostly Woody and Eric would be writing the songs. So I mean they had the ideas and we would go with the flow," he said.
"And they still write most of the songs which are real good songs too," I said.
"I know but this way I am in charge of the things I get to do," he said.
"True and you have a cool manager," I said.
"Oh of course. He is a real cool dude with the way he is able to bounce ideas back off of me," he said.
"I think having a good manager is another important thing when it comes to the things you and the guys do," I said.
"Of course. The manager and your record contract is kind of where it all is at," he said.
"And then you get to work off of that," I said.
"I did not know you were so knowledgeable in these kinds of things," he said as he looked back at me.
"It is not like I was listening," I said with a chuckle.
"You listen to a lot of things which I think is a cute thing," he said.
"And I find the work you and the boys do interesting. And knowing you guys are doing something different is also kind of interesting at the same time," I said.
"Solo vs group is quite different. Like the boys are kind of going all of the places now," he said.
"Yeah and right now you are getting settled," I said.
"I think it is nice to be able to settle down into who I am as a person and as a writer," he said.
"Finding your sound is apart of you being an artist so I can totally see it," I said.
"Yeah," he replied as he pecked my lips.
I giggled a little.
"Why are you giggling?" he asked.
"I didn't mean to," I said with a chuckle.
"I know you did," he said.
"I think it is just cute when you randomly kiss me," I said.
"Still after all of these years?" he asked.
"Mhm," I said with a bit of a smile.
"Good the spark is always going to be there," he said.
"Always is going to be," I said as I pecked his lips.
He smiled back at me.
