Y/N's POV

We had finished up at the mall and been to the grocery store. It was nice out and we chose to pick up some steaks to grill and some corn. The boys always seemed to have fun when it came to grilling things.

"You guys think the weather is going to be good for us?" Derek asked.

"I think so I mean it did not say it was going to rain," I said.

"I think the boys are also going to like that we are doing some grilling. I thought they would have been home by now too," Alan said.

We opened the steaks up and Alan went to season them. Derek delt with the corn and I just stuck around in the kitchen. Soon the doorbell rang.

"Who could be here?" I asked as I went to open the door.

It was the guys.

"Hey Y/N thanks for letting us in," Les said with a chuckle as he walked in the door.

Woody and Eric followed inside. I shut the door once they was inside.

"Did you guys like not want to come home or did you forget your keys?" I asked.

"Whatt? What could make you think we forgot our keys," Les said.

"Well first of all none of you have keys in your hands. Second of all it looks like the wind got to your hair," I said.

"Okay, maybe but we did not want to drive to do the things we wanted to do," Eric said.

"I think it was fun for us to explore the town," Les said.

"How far did you guys go?" I asked.

"We went quite a bit of places for the time we was gone," Eric said.

"Well I hope you guys had fun," I said.

"Yeah, you guys too," Woody said.

"We did have a lot of fun you know. We went to the mall and then we went to the grocery store and now the boys are making steaks and corn," I said.

"And are you going to make a salad to go with it?" Woody asked.

"Well I was planning on it but you do not have to be so mean about it," I said with a chuckle.

"I was not being mean but you know you make the best salads," Woody said.

"He is right you do. They are always so crunchy," Eric said.

"Well that is a nice way to put it you know," I said.

"Of course now let's see those steaks," Woody said.

"I don't think they are done yet," Les said.

"No, they are not but soon they will be on the grill," I said.

"I think it is nice when we get to do things on the grill," Alan said.

Soon Alan and Derek went out the door with the steaks and the corn.

"Do you think we should join them outside?" Eric asked.

"You guys can. I am going to be in here making a salad," I said.

I went into the kitchen and the boys all went outside. Except for Les.

"Do you think you might need some help in making the salad?" Les asked as he looked at me.

"I don't think so. I think I am okay," I said with a bit of a smile.

"Yeah, I think I am okay Les. Thank you for offering though," Les said with a bit of a smile.

"If you want you can go outside and join the boys if you want," I said.

"Alright then," Les said as he left the kitchen and went outside.

I went on making the salad and soon finished it. The boys brought the corn in.

"You guys did the corn first?" I asked as I looked at Derek.

"We thought it would be a good idea since the steaks take longer," Derek said.

"Oh, that makes sense," I said.

Derek put the corn down.

"Are you finished with the salad?" Derek asked.

"Yeah, I am going to come outside and join you guys," I said.

"Alright fun," Derek said.

Derek and I went outside. Derek joined Alan back at the grill.

"Hi guys," I said.

"Hey Y/N," Les said.

"Baby," Alan said as he walked over to me.

"Hi my love," I said as I looked at him.

We kissed and both smiled.

"You guys know you do not have to do that every time you see one another," Eric said.

"I think we do. It kind of keeps the spark alive in us," Alan said as he looked at Eric.

"Imagine someone kissing you every single time you walk into a room. I think it would be kind of wild," Woody said with a chuckle.

"It could be interesting," Eric said.

Alan retuned back to Derek.

"I think about those kinds of things all of the time you know," Eric said.

"Me too but it is not like it is going to be happening anyways," Woody said.

"You never know the girl you end up with might want to kiss you every time they walk in the room," I said with a bit of a chuckle.

"How long do we think it is going to take for the steaks?" Woody asked.

"I don't know a good bit of time. As long as it does not rain out of the blue I think we should be fine," I said as I looked around.

"The last time you said as long as it does not rain it ended up raining so take it back," Les said with a chuckle.

"I think it is interesting when it chooses to rain," I said.

"And somehow you make it happen more often than none," Eric said.

"It does not happen when I say it is going to be happening," I said with a chuckle.

"You should have gone into being a meteorologist," Les said with a chuckle.

"I don't think I would have been happy doing that kind of thing," I said.

"You could have though you know," Eric said.

"I think we should move on from this kind of thing," I said.

"Kind of thing? Like the topic and change it?" Woody asked.

"What are you guys talking about over here?" Eric asked.

"Just talking about life," I said.

"And you guys seem to be having a lot of fun," Alan said.

"We are and it is interesting I guess. They think I control the weather and the rain," I said.

"But you don't," Alan said with a chuckle.

"I know," I said.

To another evening with the boys.
