Y/N's POV
Today I had a long day at work and it was quite busy. I came home to the boys playing music in the house and it sounded so fun. I always wonder what they get up to when I am out at work. I think it is kind of fun to know we are always doing two different things. I was so proud of how far they have come with everything they were doing.
"Since when did you guys set all of this up in the house like this?" I asked.
"We set it up just recently. I think it turned out to be a lot of fun," Alan said.
"I am so glad you guys are having fun," I said with a smile.
I set down the things I brought home from work.
"What is that stack of papers for?" Derek asked as he looked at me.
"I have to read through all of these things for work over the next few days. Then I have to come up with an article about them," I said.
"I think that is interesting but that is kind of a lot of reading. Isn't it?" Derek asked.
"I mean kind of but it is going to take me a couple of days. And then I won't be going into work for the next few days while I work on this project," I said.
"So you get to work from home?" Alan asked.
"Yeah," I said.
"Good, my baby won't be leaving me," Alan said.
"Nope, not for a couple of days," I said with a chuckle.
"Well we are almost done playing if you want to hang out once we are done," Derek said.
"Sounds fun. I am going to go get comfortable," I said as I went into the bedroom.
"Okayy," Alan said.
The boys finished playing and recording a couple of things. I laid down on the bed tired.
"Mmm," I mumbled to myself as I closed my eyes putting my hands on my face.
I felt someone walk into the room but I didn't know who it was.
"Who goes there?" I asked.
"Guess who," Alan said.
Alan jumped on the bed and pulled me into his arms.
"Hi my love," I said.
"Hi baby," he said.
He pecked my lips.
"You look so tired," Alan said.
"I am but I know Derek wanted to hang out," I said.
"Yes, he is waiting in the living room for you guys to do something together," Alan said.
"I am not too sure what we should do but I will think of something," I said.
"I think he wants to skating," Alan said.
"Oh, okay. I think that could be fun we have not done that it in a bit of time," I said.
"I know and you two are going to have so much fun," Alan said as he kissed my cheek.
"I know I just need to wake up," I said with a chuckle.
"Maybe the sun will help," Alan said.
"It most likely will help," I said with a smile.
"Then come on let's go see Derek," Alan said getting off the bed.
"Come on," Alan commented.
I got off the bed and went with him to the living room.
"Hey sleepyhead," Derek said with a chuckle.
"Hey hey, I am ready to go skating," I said.
"Me too. I got both of our boards for us to go out on," Derek said as he showed me.
"Alright, sounds fun," I said with a smile.
"You two kids have fun and we will be here when you get back," Alan said with a smile.
I pecked his lips and went with Derek out the front door.
"How long has it been since we have done something like this?" Derek asked.
"Quite a while so this is nice to be able to get out," I said with a smile.
We both got on our boards and skated down the road and around the block.
"This is so much more fun than I remember," I said.
"I know right. I am quite glad I thought of doing this," Derek said with a smile.
"Me too," I said with a smile.
He did a couple of tricks on his board and I did the same thing.
"Should we do anything else after this or no?" Derek asked.
"I mean it is up to you if you want to we can do so," I said.
"Okay, I will think about it," Derek said.
"Tell me about it," I said.
"Tell you about what?" he asked.
"Anything you have been thinking about recently," I said.
"Well recently I have been thinking about music a lot of the time. It is a lot of fun to think about. We also have been putting some songs together and that is going well," he said.
"That is good. I have heard some of the things you guys have been putting together and it sounds like real good," I said.
"We are trying to put out more music than we have been. I am thinking we will be able to here soon," he replied.
"Oh of course. As time goes on you get to do more with the music than just simple thingscd you have done before," I said.
We paused as we arrived at a park and we picked up our boards. We began to walk through the park.
"We should come to this park more often. They even have this where we can skate," he said as he put his board down and got on it.
I just watched him skate in the park and followed behind him.
"Why are you not doing this with me? I thought we was in this together," he said.
"Well we are but I don't know how good I could do this in the park," I said.
"Well you would do fine if you just got on the board and tried," he replied with a chuckle.
"You know I could but it does mean I will," I said.
"Mmm fine let's leave the park now then," he said.
We headed out of the park and out onto the street again.
"Do you think this could be fun if we do more tricks on the way home?" I asked.
"Anything is fun when you are doing skating tricks," he said with a chuckle.
We both did more tricks on the way home and eventually made it back inside after being gone for some time.
