Y/N's POV
My favorite thing about this summer right now was not worrying about classes. I would be returning to work on the rest of them this fall. Even though sometimes summer did not seem like summer it was always so much fun. We were in July now which is always nice but it does rain quite a bit. We like to try and do things outside but it does not seem to always work out.
"I do wonder if one of these days we might move out of Scotland," Alan said as he looked at me.
"Why do you think or say that?" I asked.
"Oh, I don't know maybe because it seems to always rain. But then again it has always been this way," Alan said.
"Well of course it is going to be that way," I said with a chuckle.
"I think it would be interesting to live in another country though. I think it could be something we do sometime," Alan said.
"Where would you even want to live?" I asked.
"It would be fun to live in Australia but then again it is quite far from here. That would mean our lives would be opposite of what they are now since everything is the opposite. And it would be kind of hard to live life so far away from our family," Alan said.
"Okay, well all good points. What would be another place you would want to try and live in?" I asked.
"Well Italy or Greece could be fun. I just don't know how different life would be. Italy we would have to learn the language and I am not the best when it comes to learning those kinds of things," he said with a chuckle.
"Well maybe one day if we do want to move away from here we can talk about it more. But then again we just built our house so maybe if we focus on the positives here in Scotland it could be good for us," I said.
"True. There is so many amazing things about this country too," he said.
"Well what do you want to talk about now or let alone do for right now?" I asked.
"Well we are in the middle of a rain storm so there is not much we could do outside," Alan said as he looked out the window.
"I think it is nice when it rains though. It somehow is always cool and not too hot outside," I said.
"That is something I do love about this place. It would be kind of hard learning the way of the world in another country," he said.
"Yeah," I said as I stood behind him wrapping my arms around his waist.
"Do you like hugging me from behind?" he asked.
"I do," I said as I laid my head on his back.
"Does it ever make you feel short?" he asked.
"Mmm no more like comfortable," I said as I reached up and kissed his cheek.
"Why don't we go relax?" he asked.
"Mmmkay," I said as I let go of him from behind.
He closed the blinds and turned around to look at me.
"Hm?" I asked.
"We should maybe even think about taking a nap," he said.
"Maybe so," I said.
We went into our bedroom and got comfortable.
"I am so glad you are not taking classes over the summer. It gives us so much more time to be together like this," he said.
"I know. That is kind of one of the reasons I am not. I am able to do more things with you and of course the boys," I said.
"I think it is nice how you are able to hang out with the boys like they are your brothers. They have grown to be like my younger brothers too," he said.
"Yeah. They are always so much fun to hang out with and of course over the years we have learned so much about one another," I said.
"I think it is interesting how you learn so much about other people," he said.
"Yeah, it is just how life goes," I said.
"Well do you think we should nap or no?" he asked.
"I think we should. I think both of us could always use the sleep since we both work so much," I said.
"I think it is nice to be in the studio more though lately. It is not one of those things where it is like I have to be there more like I want to be there," he said.
"That makes sense," I said as I laid down on the bed.
He laid down beside me and looked at me.
"What are you thinking about right now?" he asked as he smiled slightly at me.
"About how I know you are about to take me into your arms," I said with a chuckle.
"Good guess," he said with a chuckle as he pulled me into his arms.
I laid my head on his chest.
"It always makes me feel happy to hold you like this. It makes me know I can do something right," he said as he laid his head on mine.
"You do so much baby that is right in this world," I said.
"Maybe but it does not always feel like that," he said.
"But you are amazing and I do hope you know it," I said.
"You make me feel like it but I do not know how the rest of the world might think about it," he said.
"I think the rest of the world would think you are just as amazing as I think you are," I said.
"I adore you so much," he said.
"I adore you too my love," I said as I kissed his cheek.
"You know I do deserve a real kiss," he said with a chuckle.
"That is becoming one of your favorite lines huh?" I asked with a slight smile.
"Mhm," he said.
I kissed him and he returned the kiss.
"You know you make every single day better," I said.
"As do you," he replied.
"I don't know about me making a day better but you," I said.
"Me what?" he asked.
"You always do every single day," I said.
"Mmm, I am going to let you say whatever you want to say I suppose," he said.
"Why thank you," I said with a chuckle.
"You're welcome my love," he said.
"My baby," I said as I closed my eyes.
"I love you," he said as he closed his eyes.
"I love you too," I replied.
To enjoying an afternoon nap with my love.
