Y/N's POV

Today me and Alan got off of work at around 3 which was nice. I think it is nice when we get off at the same time because it means we get to spend more time together. Right now we were heading off to the farm.

"I can't wait to be back on the horseys," Alan said with a smile as he drove.

"I know me too it is kind of relaxing to hang out with the horseys," I said.

"I wonder how wild the horseys might be today," Alan said with a chuckle.

"I have no idea I do not think they will be too wild," I said.

Alan parked the car and looked over at me.

"Let's go," I said as I smiled.

He pecked my lips and we got out of the car.

"Do we want to check out the stuff inside the house?" he asked.

"I think we should because I do not know if my parents have been around or not," I said.

"I don't know if they would be or not since it kind of looks like everything has been untouched since we last came here," he said.

"I think we might want to check on my parents soon. Maybe go out and visit them in a few days," I said.

"Works for me I think it could be a lot of fun. They are a lot of fun to hang out with," he said with a smile.

He took my hand and we walked over to the house and headed on inside.

"I don't know if there is anything good in this fridge or not," I said going through the fridge.

We disposed of anything that seemed like it was not good and we refilled the fridge with the new things.

"I think it is nice how you take care of the farm so well," Alan said as he leaned against the table.

"Well I have to. If I don't then nobody else will besides my parents and they are kind of busy so," I said.

"Well you are busy too but you seem to get out here more often than none," he said.

"Well true but I am also lucky to have you to come out here with me. Or if you are busy Derek comes out here with me," I said.

"Have you been doing this for the last years or since forever?" he asked.

"Well ever since I moved out of my parents house I have been taking care of the farm often," I said.

"I think it would be cool if your mom and dad showed up on the farm out of the blue," he said.

"It would be funny but I don't think it would happen," I said.

"I don't know," he said.

Alan pulled me over to him.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Can we take some fresh eggs back home?" he asked.

"Yes, anything you want you can bring with us home," I said.

"Okayy," Alan said.

Alan made a little basket of some fresh things and then we headed out to the farm.

"I think it is nice how we get to take some of this stuff," Alan said.

"Well my mom and dad aren't going to notice and plus some of it has gone bad since they have not been here," I said.

"I wonder what it is like for them when they do show up here," he said.

"I mean it is kind of no different than any other time they have been here. It is kind of like second nature since growing up being here all of the time," I said.

"What made you guys stop spending so much time here as a whole family?" he asked.

"Just work kind of made us grow apart. That is kind of why we don't see each other too often unless we arrange something," I said.

"Well you know that is kind of interesting but kind of sad. Seeing the family is always one of the best things we get to do," he said.

"Sometimes it is kind of just not possible," I said.

We headed to the stables and looked at the horseys.

"Are we going to ride today or are we just going to be checking on them?" he asked.

"Mmm, I don't think I am going to ride but if you want to then you can," I said.

"Noo, if you are not going to then I am not going to be either," he said.

"I think it is cute how you do anything I do. And if I do not do something you will not do it either," I said.

"Well that is kind of just how our relationship goes," he said.

"I don't know why you think that is how it goes," I said with a chuckle.

"Well it is kind of how it does go because we love one another so much," he said.

"I love you baby," I said.

"I love you too my love," he replied.

"Well the horseys look like they are doing good," I said with a smile.

"They do look so cute too," he replied.

We walked out of the stables and walked along the farm checking out everything.

"I think it is nice we get to come here quite often," I said.

"I know and it makes me happy to learn more about the things you did growing up. It also gives me more insight into your life," he said.

"I wonder if there is any place you can take me that can bring me back to your childhood?" I asked.

"Well I guess I could make out a little board of things to show you more of my childhood," he said.

"I think that would be so cute and it would be so nice for me to learn about you in that kind of way," I said.

"I can work on that on some of the days I am off from work. I can piece together a few things," he said.

"I am excited," I said with a smile.

"Well I know Derek is going to be able to help me as well so," he replied.

We leaned against one of the buildings in the farm and looked around.

"It is kind of cold here now I think about it," I said.

"Maybe we should head out of here and head back to one of our houses?" he asked.

"That sounds good to me," I said as I kissed his cheek.

He smiled and we headed back to the car to head to one of our houses.
