Y/N's POV
Alan did end up joining the boys out on the tour. It was weird knowing they were all out of the house. It was so quite when I got home today and I am glad all of the boys are out of having fun but I did not know what to do with myself while they was gone. I am thinking of going out to the record shop and maybe I could make a friend.
I had finished a long day at work. I came home and got freshened up and I headed out to the record shop.
I walked in and began to browse the shop. A nice lady was running the store she looked like she was around my age.
"Hey, are you finding everything alright?" the girl asked.
"Yeah, I am kind of just looking around," I said.
"Are you looking for anything in specific?" she asked.
"No, I do not think so. I mean I am just kind of trying to pass some time since I am bored," I said with a chuckle.
"Well my name is Cindy. If you need anything I will be right over there," Cindy said.
"Thank you Cindy. My name is Y/N," I said.
"Nice to meet you," she replied but heading back over to the register.
I continued to browse the store for quite some time. I ended up with quite a few items and headed for check out.
"Are you ready to check out?" Cindy asked as she looked at me.
"Yeah," I said with a smile.
I got checked out.
"You seem like a nice person," she said.
"Aww, thank you. You as well," I said.
"Would you want to maybe get a tea or something? There is a nice tea shop around the corner from here. I am done with my shift right now," Cindy said.
I grabbed my bags and looked at her.
"That sounds nice. I would like that," I said.
"Let me just grab my stuff and we can head out," she said.
She vanished for a few minutes and came back with her stuff.
"Ready to go?" I asked.
"Yes, I think we could just walk? I am going to put my stuff in my car real quick," Cindy said.
"Sounds good," I said.
We headed out of the shop. Another guy took over the store and we headed to the cars. I put my stuff safely in the car and Cindy did so too.
"I think it is kind of weird how I was just like do you want to get a tea?" Cindy said.
"I think it is nice you know. I don't have many friends so if we become friends it will work out perfect," I said with a chuckle.
"Same here. I have a boyfriend but like he is my only friend at this point. I have a hard time when it comes to making friends," Cindy said.
"Me too kind of," I said.
We began to walk to the tea shop around the corner.
"I have a husband which is why I said kind of," I said with a chuckle.
"Ooo you have a husband?" Cindy asked.
"Yeah, it is kind of nice having a husband. It is like always having your best friend around," I said.
"I think that is so sweet," she replied.
"It is quite nice," I said.
"I hope one of these days I will become a wife," she said.
"You will and trust me it is going to be one of the most amazing things to happen," I said.
"Well this is quite nice," she said with a smile.
"This is nice," I said.
"So what are you doing after this?" she asked.
"No clue if I am being honest. I am kind of alone at the moment since my husband wen out on a trip for business," I said.
I was not about to reveal who I was married to let alone those I knew.
"Well it will be kind of late by the time we get out of here," she said.
"True. It is 6 so if we get out of here at like 7," I said.
"Maybe you should just go home and rest," she said.
We headed inside and ordered some tea and we sat down.
"I think it is kind of weird how it seems like we have so much in common," I said.
"It does seem like we have so much in common," she said.
"What kind of things do you like to do when you are not at work?" I asked.
"Well I am a person who is into travel so I always like to do traveling. I do not get to do it often but it is fun when I do get too. I also like to write. What about you?" she asked.
"Me too. I love those things too which is another weird thing we have in common," I said with a chuckle.
We spent some time in the tea shop. We got each other's numbers I think we are going to be good friends. I went home and inside. I got ready for the evening and settled in.
Soon the phone rang and I picked it up.
"Hi baby," Alan's voice rang over the phone.
"Oh my god hi my love," I said.
"How are you doing? I miss you so much," he said.
"I am doing good. I made a new friend today and I miss you too," I said.
"Aww you made a new friend? Girl or guy?" he asked.
"She is a girl and her name is Cindy. We have a lot of things in common," I said.
"Aww I love that for you baby," he said.
"How are you doing though?" I asked.
"I am doing alright. I would be better if you was here with me but you know how it is," he said.
"It would be an amazing thing if you was here with me too baby," I said.
"I think about it a lot of the time and wonder how many times we have to spend time like this apart," he said.
"I hope not much. I am hoping to be able to get my degree soon so I could become someone who is into travel you know," I said.
"I love you so much baby," he said.
"I love you so much too my love," I said.
"Wait catch this," Alan said as made a kiss sound into the phone.
"I caught it," I said with a chuckle.
To a night talking to Alan for a bit on the phone before another random day tomorrow.
