Y/N's POV

The boys would be home for another couple of weeks which was nice. I think it was good for Alan when the boys were home since Derek was home. I think the boys need to hang out together a little more often just as Alan and Derek. I do think it would be good for them as brothers. I think they agree with me too. I do have a couple of things to get done today. I was done with work for the day and Alan and Derek had gone off.

I stopped by the boys house for a minute to see if any of them wanted to come along with me.

"Well what are you going to be doing?" Les aksed.

"I have to do some food shopping for the house. I also want to stop in at the pet shelter to see if there is any dogs to catch my eye," I said.

"I think it would be fun. I will come with you," Les said.

"Alright then let's go," I said.

"Fun," Les replied.

Soon me and Les were off to the store. I had to get some groceries and any food or drink that seemed like it would be nice in the house.

"Have you guys not gotten much when it comes to food for the house?" Les asked.

"Well we had a couple of things we keep picking up but I want to like make sure I have enough food in the freezer and fridge," I said.

"Ah yes for like meals and stuff?" Les asked.

"Yeah, I think the idea of having meal ideas ready is going to be quite nice," I said.

"Oh, of course it is going to be," Les said.

Soon we were inside of the store and shopping around.

"Do you ever think you have too many things in the freezer?" Les asked.

"I do not know if I am being honest with you. I think there is never too much but then again that is coming from someone who cleans things out and organizes," I said.

"I kind of miss you doing that at the house," Les said with a chuckle.

"Is everything out of order now?" I asked with a chuckle.

"Eh, sometimes things are all over the place when it comes to where things are," Les said.

"Well that is kind of normal for those kinds of things to be," I said.

"I know but you knew how to organize things so nicely," Les said.

"I am sure you guys are doing just fine," I said.

We picked up some of the items on my list.

"I also think it was nice when you would do the food shopping," Les said.

"Well we are shopping now so pick up the things you guys need or want back at your guys house," I said.

"I did not mean when you would pay for those things. I just mean we used to go as a group and now you and Alan do your thing and we do ours," Les said.

"It is going to be like that for the rest of time you know," I said.

"I know and someday everyone is going to end with the love of their life doing their own thing. But for right now this is kind of weird for me," Les said.

"And that is normal. Everything different is going to be weird," I said.

I finished getting all of the things on my list.

"How come you want to go look at dogs?" Les asked.

"Well me and Alan were talking about getting another dog. We think it would be fun," I said.

"I think it is cool how you guys have so many animals out on the farm," Les said.

"Me too. This is kind of like the life I have always wanted," I said.

"Well that is good to have the life you have always dreamed of," Les said.

I paid for the items and the things Les wanted.

"Yeah, I feel blessed and thankful every single day," I said.

"I am glad you do. I do too," Les replied.

"I think about life too and how different it is for so many people," I said.

"I know. It is quite different for people all over the world," Les said.

We loaded up the car and got inside of the car.

"Yeah," I said.

"Do you think Alan is going to question why I went off with you?" Les asked.

"No, because this has become normal. And he also likes when one of you guys go out with me. I don't know why but he thinks you guys will protect me if anything happens," I said.

"Well we will but it is kind of weird to think he is okay with it," Les said.

"We have known one another for so long so this is not weird at all," I said.

"Alright then," Les replied.

"It is only weird if you think it is going to be weird or you make it weird," I said.

"Well true that does make sense," he replied.

Soon we headed off to the shelter.

"Do you think any of the food is going to go bad while we are inside?" Les asked.

"No, we are not going to be in there for long either way," I said.

"I think it is nice to think about how you have everything in order," Les said.

"Are you going to keep complimenting me on how organized and nice I am?" I asked with a chuckle.

"Is there a issue with it?" he asked.

"No, but it can stop if you would like to stop now," I said.

"Oh, so you do have an issue with it," he said.

"No, but we are here at the shelter now. Do you want to go in or not?" I asked.

"Mmm sure I will go in with you. If Alan thinks I need to protect you then I am going to be protecting you," Les said.

"I don't think he would be worried here but okay let's go in," I said.

"You just said," he said.

"I know what I said so let's go in," I said.

"Alright then. You are kind of a weirdo now I think of it," he replied with a chuckle.

"Thank you. I do appreciate it quite a bit," I said.

"I know you do," he replied.

To looking at the dogs in the shelter.
