Y/N's POV

Today we both had finished up work for the day. Bay City Rollers boys finished their US tour today for this time but it would be another one that would begin in July. They would be coming back to Scotland for a little bit to hang out with us soon.

"I think it is nice the boys are coming back home to spend some time with us," Alan said.

"I know. I think it is nice how we are going to be able to show them what we have done with this house so far," I said.

"I think we have come a long way," Alan said as he wrapped his arm around me.

We were sitting on the couch watching some TV right now.

"I think today should be one of those days where we just don't do anything the rest of the day. You know?" Alan commented.

"I know. We have been busy all of the time," I said.

"It seems like we have been extra busy lately. The only good thing about moving in here is it was not too far to be moving our belongings to," he said.

I laid my head against his chest and wrapped my arms around him.

"I know," I said.

"And what are we going to be wanting to have for dinner?" he asked.

"I don't even want to think about dinner right now. I am so comfortable," I said with a bit of a chuckle.

"I am comfortable too," he said as he laid his head on mine.

"I don't even know what this show is about," I said.

"I don't either but it does seem to be kind of interesting," he replied.

"True," I said.

"How was your day at work today?" he asked.

"Oh, it was good but quite busy. I think it is nice when the days are busy but also the busy days are a little too much," I said.

"Well you will never get bored," he replied with a chuckle.

"I suppose so. How was your day at work?" I asked.

"It was good. I have been coming up with some nice music I am so proud of the things we have been coming up with," he said.

"Well I am so proud of you," I said as I kissed his cheek.

"You know you make everything so much better. I don't know how far I would have been if you did not push me to follow my heart," he said.

"But you did that yourself my love. It is all about following your heart and following your dreams," I said.

"Yeah but you made this possible. I might have just gone back to what I used to do if it was not for you," he said.

"I think you would have always followed your heart whether I was here or not," I said.

"You think so? I am not too sure," he said.

"Well we are here now so it is kind of interesting to see where life is going to take us from here," I said.

"I know and it is bringing us to all of these amazing places and things we get to do," he said.

"I know," I said.

An hour or so would go by.

"Baby, I think we should get ready to make something for dinner," Alan said as he kissed my cheek.

"Mmm," I said as I opened my eyes.

I guess I had dozed off.

"You fell asleep for a little bit of time," he said.

"I didn't know," I said.

"And? I did not want to wake you up my love you looked so peaceful," he said.

"But you know you could have," I said.

"But I wasn't going to," he said.

I smiled and sat up.

"What are you thinking about for dinner?" I asked.

"Anything simple does sound like it could be good," he said.

"Mmmkay I will see what I can do," I said.

"You know we can make up something as we go," he said.

"Do we want any kind of meat in the meal or just like pasta?" I asked.

"I don't know let's go see what we have in the kitchen," he said.

We soon made our way into the kitchen.

"We should just make some mac and cheese," I said.

"That would be simple enough," he said as he pulled Mac and Cheese box out of the cabinet.

Soon we made some mac and cheese and sat down to eat.

"I am glad we have a cute little table in here to eat at. I am also glad we got the dining room partly settled but it is going to be nice for when we have people over," Alan said.

"I know. I am excited to be able to host things when it comes to food related things in the dining room," I said.

"It is mainly going to be for that and not much for us just eating," Alan said.

"True. I mean we are going to be eating in here for the most part," I said.

"And it is just us so it is no need to set the big table anyways," he said.

"I do kind of wonder how this house is going to look when it is fully complete," I said.

"Me too but it is going to be exciting to continue to work on it," he said.

We both were enjoying our food at this point and sipping on some tea.

"I know me too," I said with a bit of a smile.

"And I think the boys will be home in 2 days. I don't think it is going to be tomorrow since they have been busy," he said.

"Well we will be ready to feed them when they get back," I said with a bit of a chuckle.

"And we are going to be able to give them a tour of our home," he said with a smile.

"I have a good feeling they are going to always want to stay here," I said.

"Well we do not have enough rooms for all of them but we do have the couches and the guest room," he said.

"Well when they want to stay over we will figure it out," I said.

"And it will be a lot of fun," he said.

"I think so too," I said.

"Well do you think we should plan on going to bed soon after we finish dinner?" he asked.

"Sounds like a plan to me," I replied.

To another simple dinner in our new home.
