Y/N's POV

Today we were decorating for Christmas. I think it was always fun to be able to do this sort of thing. This was our first year decorating in our new house. We had the entire "canvas" to ourselves and we had no limitations. We did buy ourselves a new tree yesterday.

"I quite glad we got the tree yesterday," Alan said with a bit of a smile.

"I think it is nice to have a lovely tree for the house," I said.

"It is. Do you think we should get to decorating now?" he asked.

"I think we should," I said.

We had put the tree up yesterday right after we got it. We wanted to decorate today.

"I am so glad we got such amazing things for the tree," he said.

"This feels so special since this is our first Christmas in this house," I said.

"I know," Alan said as he pulled me over to him.

I looked at him and he kissed me softly. I returned the kiss.

"We should get started on the tree," I said.

We soon got to decorating the tree. And we pulled out the new things we had bought for the house. We got the fireplace on.

"I think it is nice how we have a fireplace in this house. I do not think the feel of the holiday would be the same if we did not have the fireplace," Alan said.

"You are right. That is one of the reasons we had one put in when we built it," I said.

We turned on some holiday music.

"Do you think we should hang up some mistletoe?" I asked.

"Well if the guys come by they are going to want to kiss someone so I do not think so," he said.

"I don't think they are going to want to kiss me or you but if you think they might then we won't," I said.

"Alright then," he replied as he put it above our heads.

I kissed him and smiled. We had finished our tree decorating and moved onto the rest of the living room.

"This is going to look so nice when we are finished with it," Alan said.

"I think we should continue at this rate and we will be done by 1," I said.

"Well what time is it right now?" he asked.

"It is 12," I said.

"You think we are going to be doing this for another hour?" he asked with a chuckle.

"Well yeah. We kind of do have our room and if we want to add anything into the rest of the rooms," I said.

"Mmm, true let's get to work," he said.

We soon got to work on the rest of the house and finished by a little after 1.

"I think it looks amazing. It is kind of weird knowing this is just our house to decorate but it is interesting too," I said.

"I know but I love it," he said.

"I wonder how or when the guys are going to decorate their house," I said.

"I think they said today was going to be the day they were going to do their house too," he said.

"It is kind of ironic how we all decorate around the same time," I said.

"I know but it is kind of a routine," he said.

"I like our routine and how our routines did not change despite moving into our own house," I said.

"I know. Do you think we should make some cookies to go with the whole holiday theme?" he asked.

"How do gingerbread cookies sound to you?" I asked.

"Sounds like something I think we should be making right now," he said with a bit of a chuckle.

"Then we shall," I said.

We cleaned up everything we had left out and made our way into the kitchen.

"I think it is nice how we always like to bake and or cook with one another. It is so special to me," he said.

"It is special to me too," I said.

We soon got everything ready for making the cookies and got started on them.

"Ooo this smells so good already," he said.

"It does," I said.

He threw a little bit of flour at me.

"You are a mess now," he said.

"Ooo I am going to get you," I said as I picked up a little bit of flour.

"You won't catch me," he said as he went around the kitchen.

I followed him around the kitchen and got the flour on his nose.

"Now you are a mess," I said with a chuckle.

"Mmm I look cute and so do you but now back to the cookies," he said.

We finished making the cookies and got them put in the oven.

"I like how we have become such amazing bakers," I said.

"I feel like for as long as I have known you that you have always been an amazing baker," he said.

"I think you have made me a better one then I was," I said.

"Maybe so but you also have taught me quite a few things about baking," he said.

I sat up on the counter and looked at him.

"You are so beautiful my love," Alan said as he looked at me.

"And you are so handsome my baby," I said as I smiled at him.

"See and look at that smile gosh," he said as he walked up in front of me.

"Do you think it is cute when I smile? Because I do not like my smile," I said.

"How could you not like your own smile? It is quite literally the cutest thing in the world," he said.

"You know what the cutest thing in the world is? Your smile so do not even try and say mine is adorable," I said.

"Mmm fine but it is and you can't stop me from saying it," he said.

"How long do we have for the cookies to be in the oven?" I asked.

"Well if we want them in there for like 15 minutes then we have like 10," he said.

"Alright then sounds good," I said.

He pecked my lips and we both smiled.

"Been getting so many kisses today sheesh," he said with a chuckle.

"I know right. But is quite nice if I do say so myself," I said with a chuckle.

"Of course it is," he replied with a smile.

To an afternoon making and enjoying cookies.
