Chapter 42

- August 15th 1975 -

Y/N's POV

I was lying down on the couch just watching some TV. It was raining outside really hard and the boys were at work. They would be home soon which made me happy. They were all in the studio working on the new music they would be putting out soon.

I guess I eventually dozed off. I was waking up to being kissed. 

"We're home," Alan said as I opened my eyes.

I looked at him.

"Hi baby," I said with a smile.

"Hi my love," Alan said with a smile.

"Why are you waking her up like that?" Derek asked with a chuckle.

"Because I can," Alan said.

"How was your guys day at work?" I asked.

"It was good we got a lot of stuff done in the studio. We have some new music in the works," Les said.

"I think that it is cool you guys have so much in the works," I said with a smile.

"Yeah, but we are not soaked because we ran out of the studio and then we ran into the house," Alan said with a chuckle.

"Then you guys need to go get changed," I said.

"We will and then I wanna come lay down here with you," Alan said.

"You are free to join me," I said with a smile.

Alan pecked my lips and then went off to get changed. The boys all did the same.

I closed my eyes again in the meantime listening to the tv. Soon the boys came back.

"Wake up!" Eric shouted in my face.

"Heyy," I said opening my eyes.

"Hey Y/N," Eric said with a chuckle as he went to the other couch and sat down.

The boys all made their way in and got comfortable. Alan laid on top of me on the couch.

I wrapped my arms around him.

"I missed you all day," Alan said.

"I missed you too my love," I said as I kissed his head.

"Don't mind the fact my hair is like soaked," Alan said with a chuckle.

"It's okay my love," I said.

"I am warm now though," he said.

"That is good," I said.

"What are you even watching?" Woody asked.

"I don't know it changed in between the times I fell asleep," I said with a chuckle.

"Oh alright so you have no idea what is going on with it?" Derek asked.

"Not really I just know that girl is the main character and that guy is her love interest," I said.

"So it is like a love story movie?" Eric asked.

"Yeah, basically," I said.

Alan closed his eyes as his head was laying on my chest.

"Someone is going to be asleep so soon," Derek said looking at the two of us on the couch.

"I am not going to fall asleep," Alan said.

"You will I know you well enough to know you will," Derek said looking back at the screen.

"If he falls asleep let him. He deserves to rest," I said.

"I bet he does deserve to rest but sometimes I don't know why he does not sleep as much as he should," Eric said.

"I think it is because he is trying to take care of us as he is the older one," Woody said.

"I try and make sure everyone is in check. I want everyone to be taken care of and being the oldest one it is kind of my job to do so," Alan said.

"We are all adults so you do not have to worry about us," Les said.

"But it is my right as the oldest to make sure you guys are taken care of," Alan said.

"Again you do not always have to be the one who is fixing all of the problems. Let us help out more," Derek said.

"Maybe," Alan mumbled as he began to drift off to sleep.

"He is going to sleep like I thought he would," Derek said.

"He is just relaxed so of course he is going to end up asleep," I said with a smile.

I kissed his head. The boys all looked back at the tv and enjoyed the movie that was on.

"I don't know why they thought those two would make a good couple. They do not even look right together," Eric said as he looked at the tv.

"I know I don't know who got those people to play those roles. I want to know why," I said with a chuckle.

"I feel like that girl would have gone with him better but they were like nope let's do it this way," Les said.

"You guys have some strong opinions on these people," Woody said.

"Well it is quite interesting to see how people think and do things," Eric said.

"I don't really know how to think about the way they did these people," Woody said.

"Watch a few more movies and you might be on the critique level we are," Eric said.

"I don't have any big opinions either so do not think too much about it," Derek said with a chuckle.

I looked at Alan as he slept and kissed his head again. I held him close.

"I am jealous of you two over there right now," Les said as he looked back at us.

"And why is that?" I asked as I looked at Les.

"Look at how peaceful Alan looks as sleeps," Les said.

"I know and you can tell he is relaxed too," I said.

"Meanwhile me and Woody are just over here like hey," Les said with a chuckle.

"There is nothing wrong with us just hanging out over here on the couch," Woody said with a chuckle.

"It is like me and Derek over here," Eric said.

"I think it is nice to be able to have a pair," Woody said.

"Me too," Derek said.

"Well then if we just move on and watch the movie you will not think about the perfect relationship those two have," Derek said.

"Fine," Les said with a chuckle as his eyes went back to the tv.

I closed my eyes.

"Y/N are you going to be going to sleep now?" Eric asked.

"Yes, I am going to be and if I do go to sleep don't let me sleep longer than 30 minutes," I said with a chuckle.

"I think you need the sleep but we will try and wake you up," Eric said.

"Thanks," I said as I giggled a little.
