"And in my dying breath, still, I love you."

"Come again?" the second prince asked with his usual calm voice.

"Lady Anastasia was found with Lord Nicolis in the outskirts of Leonhart duchy a few days ago, your highness," the messenger who chased them all the way to Winterwoods said once again.

"Oh?"

Suddenly, the snow under their feet melted and flowed like water which could only mean one thing...

Heinzal Versailles, the second prince, is furious.

They've just arrived in the borders of Sylveria Kingdom, the frozen kingdom of the north as per the intel that the prince's runaway fiancé was heading here.

And then a messenger just went after them and broke the news that Lady Anastasia was actually still in Leonhart duchy?

He really is irritated and irked beyond comprehension. Even more so that his fiancé is with that bastard Nicolis Hunt at the moment. Of all the people, why Nicolis? Is she doing it on purpose? To annoy him?

Well, she's done a damn good job.

"And where are they heading to?" Heinzal asked once again. This time, suppressed anger is visible in his tone.

"Just this dawn, they've sailed from Muldova port towards Larona Isles," the messenger answered.

"Ah..." He nodded his head, as if in agreement before slowly laughing maniacally. "Is she provoking me? The Eauxian fleet with that Francisco is there too, is he not?"

Albeit hesitantly, the messenger nodded. "The chieftain of Larona Isles must have accepted the Eauxian convoy as to why they've stayed there without any mishaps, conflicts and whatsoever. As to why, we don't know."

"Return to the royal palace and convey my order," Heinzal stated. "Send the first and second Yngrassian fleet towards Larona Isles and annahilate them."

Every knight, soldiers and even medics and cooks stationed for the prince's army shot frozen upon his orders.

The messenger blinked, dumbfounded and perhaps, terrified of what he just heard. "I-I beg your pardon, your highness?"

"As of today forward, the inhabitants of Larona Isles are branded as traitors to the Kingdom and therefore needed to be executed as per the law," he answered before looking at the man with a scowl on his handsome yet danngerous face. "Is that still so hard for you to understand or do I have to cut your throat before repeating myself again?"

The messenger gulped as his body trembled furiously in insurmountable terror. "N-No... y-your highness. I-I completely u-understand."

"Good, now run along before I completely loose my temper," Heinzal warned.

Without further ado, the messenger his back and disappeared into the dark, winter night, terrified for his own life.

"Shouldn't we head back as well, your highness?" Colt Wallstone, his most loyal servant and trusted aid inquired.

"We'll do first thing in the morning," he answered, a little more calm now. "As for you, I have something I need you to do."

Colt bowed slightly. "Anything, your highness."

And just then, a small, sly grin appeared on the second prince's slips.
