"Impostor? Impostor?!" Dominique yelled and when no one answered her anymore, she furiously throwed the hourglass— the communication magic item away.
"Ano 'yon?!" rinig niyang sambit ng mga kasama niya sa Institute dati na ngayo'y tinalikuran na siya.
Dali-dali niyang kinuha ang katawan ng hari at reyna na hanggang ngayon ay dala-dala pa rin niya at sinira ang bintana saka lumipad palayo.

Kumunot nalang ang noo niya nang bigla nitong tinago ang libro sa likod nito saka nagsalita. "Anastasia, where is she?"
There is something strange in his eyes that she can't pinpoint what. Something changed.
Napatingin tuloy siya sa libro. It doesn't have any written title which means it's a blank book where anybody can write on.
Like a journal, perhaps.
"Lady Dominique?"
Nabaling ulit ang tingin niya sa binata. "Are you sure you're not imbued with dark magic?"
"Yes," seryosong sagot nito.
"The victims don't realize they're victims until it's too late, Nicolis," she warned.
"I said I don't!" singhal nito. "Nasaan siya? I have to stop the two from seeing each other again, he'll kill her like before!"
Takang napatingin si Dominique sa kaniya. "Like before?"
Hundreds of conclusions and conspiracies swirled her mind like a hurricane of maddening thoughts.
Natahimik si Nicol bago nagsalita. "M-My sister... she can see the future in dreams. She just told me." Nanginginig ang mga labi nito. Kakagaling lang nito sa bahay nila ng palihim. Doon nito nakausap ang kapatid. "She told me our time was already turned back once... and that Heinzal killed Anastasia in that time."
