Ch. 49 - Hybrid

Riley POV

"The Queen of sealing a deal. The Queen Closer!" Brandon tipped his glass to my nonexistent one. "Why aren't you drinking?" He seriously asked me.

I looked to my obvious baby bump and back to him. He didn't get the hint though. "How much have you had to drink?"

"Too much!" Barry took his cup from him.

"Hey! I like drinking that. It makes feel all funny inside." Brandon pouted as he rubbed his chest. Barry watched him with eyes that wanted to feel his chest too. They were going to be so hot together.

"I think he is going to need a ride home soon. Promise to make sure he gets home ok." I asked Barry.

"Of course, Riley."

"I don't need to go home." Brandon demanded like a toddler. Jesus, he was not getting the hint, again.

"Let Barry take you home, to bed." I winked at him.

"Mmm, that is a great idea. Will you tuck me in too?" Brandon leaned his head to his shoulder. Way too obvious. He has no game when he is drunk.

"No!" Barry looked annoyed as he spoke, but lightly chuckled and didn't move him off his shoulder. Maybe he is slicker than I thought.

"She found her place with her pack I see. You didn't waste anytime knocking this one up." Danny Gomez said walking towards me.

I still disliked that Alpha! He was a slimy man that saw women as below him. I never did find out how he was moving money around his pack either. Before I thought it was different businesses he and his sons owned, but now I knew it was pack money.

"She is my mate and mother of my child. I suggest you respect her as such." Jax's tone was pure masculinity.

Deep, rough, dangerous. God, he is so sexy. His hand wrapped around my waist and his eyes softened as he looked to me.

"What beautiful?" He teased, leaning his nose to mine then brushed his lips over me.

"You're incredibly handsome." I smiled to him, completely forgetting about speedy Gonzalez next to us.

"She makes a good partner I see. Good for you, Jax. It's about time you started filling your pack with some heirs." Mr. Gomez smacked a hand to his shoulder and Jax growled at him.

"Ok, ok!" He said with hands raised. "I see who wears the pants here." He backed up and hit right into Liam.

"Are you disrespecting my Beta and his mate, Danny?" Liam snarled at him.

"Never! No! Just congratulating him on his child and happiness. Oh, my wife needs me. My boys can be a handful." He slowly side stepped the deathly stare Liam was giving him and quickly walked to the other side of the room.

"Are they really all his kids?"

"He had 22 kids and all from one woman. They have been very busy over the years." Jax chuckled.

"I would die having that many kids. Her vagina has to be huge." I said then slapped my hand over my mouth. That was so rude to say. His wife was so sweet too. I honestly didn't know what she saw in that man.

"They are fated and she is werewolf. She heals fast." Jax smirked at me. "I only want twelve anyways. Already got one down too." His hand ran over my belly.

"I'm not doing this twelve times." I looked at him like he was ridiculous.

Liam chuckled at us. "I doubt you'll survive the first one. I wouldn't worry about eleven more."
