Ch. 54 - God Among Peasants

Liam POV

'The alpha Lycan is at our gates.' One of my guards told me through my link.

'Let him through.' I approved, but I didn't really have a choice.

"You ready?" I looked to Lindsey, praying she was as submissive to my orders to lie to Demetrius as she was in bed. I can't let him know of Riley.

"Yes, Master." She moved to my side and ran her hand over my chest. Goddess, I loved when she called me that. If I didn't have so much fear running through me, I would bend her over right here to let out some of this tension inside me. I fucking hated this man.

I took a rough kiss from her mouth to clear my thoughts. I can't show my disgust to Demetrius. I knew he wouldn't kill me, especially since the sick bastard wanted my daughters, but he would make me do as he wanted one way or another.

We walked out of the pack house just as his oversized SUV limo pulled into the driveway.

"Demetrius!" I bowed my head to him as he approached. He was the tallest man of any I knew and his body was filled with nothing but large lean muscles. My wolf stood tall in my soul, feeling honored to be in his presence. I hated my wolf with a passion how he wanted to bow to this vile creature.

"Liam and Lindsey. I like this pair." He sniffed the air around Lindsey at my side and I rolled my eyes. She isn't pregnant asshole.

"Come inside for some drinks. If I've known of your arrival I would of prepared more." I turned to my door.

Lindsey bowed to the Alpha then his four wives that stood ten feet behind him. The women paid her no attention though. I guess they didn't care much for the mating partner Demetrius chose for me.

"I have business not too far from here and I thought it would be good to check in on my new project." Demetrius spoke smugly about his so called project to get me to impregnate Lindsey. I wish I had the power to kill him.

"Lindsey is still acclimating to my pack, but has been a true gift so far. She has helped much of my members and shown..."

"Enough, Liam!" Demetrius cut me off as he poured himself a drink. The rest of us took a seat and his wives stood obediently behind him. "We both know I don't give a fuck about Lindsey's or your pack's happiness. We made an agreement and I don't see you upholding your end. Should I take my daughter home?"

"Lindsey is a part of my pack and we decided to officially mark each other this Silver moon. We hope it will give us strong heirs." I took her hand and kissed it sweetly. It wasn't how I normally treated woman, but hopefully the facade will sway Demetrius to give us more time.

"We? She isn't some woman to fawn over. I gave you a perfect whore for that beast that lives inside you." He licked his lips as his eyes looked over my body. Damn Maverick wagged his tail like a little pup that the Lycan Alpha was checking us out. "You are to mark her, fuck her, and have children. That's all!"

"Of course." I cleared my throat and readjusted in my seat. He wasn't fucking happy and that was clear. "Only I will be marking Lindsey next week. She is aware of that, as well as her duties to me."

"I know she is. Lindsey loved to submit to powerful Alphas since she was just a child. Isn't that right." He waved for her to come to him. Lindsey shyly nodded and walked to sit on his lap. "Has Liam tasted you?" He asked her as his fingers traced over her shoulder.

"Yes, Alpha, many times. He is a rough lover as you said and I enjoy it immensely."

"I bet he is. Powerful beast like us need to control beautiful whores, marked them in many ways until their bodies completely give out to us."
