Riley POV
I woke with an ache in my back. My body was curled against Jax's body as he sat against a tree. I giggled at the mess he looked to be.
His blond hair was ruffled, face etched in sadness, his body slumped over uncomfortably and mouth slightly parted with drool. My handsome man!
"Baby, wake up, love. We can sleep more inside." I whispered in his ear. He just moaned at me. He was really passed out. I giggled feeling hunger consuming me. I needed food, but it felt wrong to leave him like this. I shook my head and pushed at his body to lay down. He instantly curled his body in a fetal position.
"You are a wolf. I guess sleeping in the woods isn't that strange, or is it?" This life was weird. I pushed myself to my feet and walked to the house. We weren't that far from the back door and if I looked carefully, I could see him from the window.
I walked inside and froze at the sight I saw. Barry had Brandon propped up on the kitchen counter, kissing him deeply with loud dark growls. Brandon whimpered, gripping Barry's hair tight in his fist. I knew it was wrong to stare, but I was in shock. I knew they would be hot together, and damn they were hot!
Then I heard Brandon's belt come undone. "I need one more taste, mate." Barry said, grabbing his pants.
"No! Sorry! I should have said something sooner." I shouted.
Barry turned to me with dark navy eyes and growled like I was to meet my death for daring to interrupt. I took a step back. "I just need to grab a blanket. Jax is still asleep in the woods."
"Are you growling at our Luna, mate?" Brandon teased, turning Barry's head to face him.
"You are mine! She is trying to take away my pleasure!" Barry's wolf was possessive. I bet Brandon was loving that. I giggled at them.
"We were just saying goodbye. Sorry for the..." Brandon moved off the counter, but Barry grabbed him from behind.
His lips started sucking on his neck, making Brandon's eyes roll back. That's when I saw it, both of them were marked.
"Get out of here!" I shouted.
"You get out of here!" Barry commanded. He wasn't playing around either. Brandon is going to be preoccupied with a mate like him. I didn't doubt for a second, he would mind it one bit either.
"I'm happy for you, both of you. Just grabbing a blanket then I'm gone." I rushed into the living room.
"You know there are two bedrooms upstairs for you." I said with a giggle as I walked to the door again.
"Come on, lover. You can have my body one more time.
Then I need to get to the office. You're lucky Riley caught us and not Jax. He won't tolerate this disrespect.""You're mine." Barry demanded.
"I am. I guess it is my job to teach you manners then." He wiggled his eyebrows to Barry then pulled him upstairs. "Sorry, Riley. We are werewolves and very horny."
I shook my head and grabbed the entire bowl of fruit from the counter. I went back outside to cover Jax, then sat beside him.
It was a gorgeous morning. The sun was bright in the sky, the ground dark green with lush grass, flowers bordered the back of the little white cottage and my mate was fast asleep snoring away his pain from rejecting his pack. We had a lot to overcome. We are going to have days that didn't feel right, pain of losing people we love. We are going to do it together though.
I didn't fear anything anymore. My fingers brushed his hair to the side. He looked like a large child fast asleep from a sugar comatose, but he was mine. "I don't think it's possible to love anyone like I love you. You're perfect just as you are." I kissed his upper lip, avoiding the light drool his bottom lips glistened with.
