Ch. 109 - Adjustments

Liam POV

"So how did you wake me?" Jax crossed his large arms over his chest. Maverick was in a frenzy watching him all day.

He ate five plates of food just for breakfast and all while talking and joking with all our kids. Jackson took ten minutes to warm up to him, then wouldn't leave his side. Jax fit right in like he had been here every second the last few years.

Riley was glowing, watching him naturally being one of us. Honestly, I was never worried we would need an adjustment to when he woke. Our kids loved him just as much as they loved Riley or me. They saw him everyday and knew his life through stories we told them.

"I'll let our gorgeous Queen explain that one." I side eyed Riley, happily hanging her out to dry. I was happy as fuck she woke him, but I didn't agree with the terms.

"Maybe we should discuss this later." Riley tried brushing it off when Sophia and Dylan walked in.

"Later? Seriously, Riley?" Sophia was not happy and a fairy was not a pretty thing to see upset.

"Calm down, tinker bell. We talked about keeping control." Dylan's hands roamed her large belly as he kissed her mark.

"We talked about you not calling me damn tinker bell!" Her eyes glowed a deep purple and Dylan stepped back.

"Oh come on!" Brandon walked in just as Sophia was about to attack her mate. "Enough with the drama, Soph. Today has been a long day after entertaining that evil witch. I can't handle your evil fairy, no matter how much fun it is watching you kick your mate's ass."

"Hey, I can hold my own." Dylan scoffed, offended he was a weak little wolf compared to Sophia.

"No, you can't. You use sex to tame her and we all know it." Conner walked in behind Barry.

"That's how I tame you. Should we stop using that tactic?" Tina teased Conner, running her finger over his lips. He smiled at her and we all knew where everyone's mind went.

So much lust was swirling in the air all I wanted was to get my two mates alone. My hand rubbed my neck, the side bare of a final mark to complete our bond. Tonight, we are finishing this.

"What is happening? Why are all of you in my office?" Jax looked over the misfits of mates. All of them wrapped in the other's arms, caressing their skin and kissing them softly.

I looked at Riley and she winked at me. Her hand pushed Jax to his chair then sat in his lap. I was definitely hard now. "Don't you not remember how good it feels to be close to your mate." Her voice was sad but seductive, and Jax eat it right up.

"I could never forget how my mate feels." His hand caressed her little baby bump. "Either of my mates." He smiled to me and I gave him a wink.

"I wouldn't mind reminding you, if you did forget just how fucking fantastic we feel." I said in my mind link to just my mates. Mine and Jax's eyes turned black and Riley's red.

"Goddess, we can't all be in the same room." Sophia moaned. "Especially with a damn Lycan horny for not one but two mates."

"I don't make you a little slut and everyone knows it. You are that all on your own." Riley snapped at her.

"That's my sister, Riley." Barry growled then Jax growled at him. Brandon stood in front of his mate with wide eyes.

It took me a long time to warm up to the bond and foul mouths they all had. It wasn't normal to speak as we commonly did to a Lycan. Riley hated be treated like some posh royalty though. She was the Queen so it was her way of living now.
