The typing had been frantic, Lukanja's fingers having never worked this fast before. They could hardly wait, needing to tell Akechi the news pretty much right away.

' Akechi!

We need to hurry!

Now! '

' Calm down!

What happened? '

' The Palace!

Go there!

Now! '

' Already? '

' We can't lose momentum! '

' That's true.

Alright. I'll be there. '

' Great!

Ole will come too! '

If this was true and that short headache was the result of it kicking in, then they would need to hurry before the effect would wear off and they would calm down. Because honestly? They were just on the edge constantly, a certain uncomfortable feeling overcoming them. They were shaking, or rather wanted to shake. The goosebumps made itself evident on the skin, them being able to feel it. Not just that but their blood was pumping through their veins, literally. They felt a sudden burst of energy and heat going through their body. On top of that their heart was racing, some type of panic overcoming them. Their head was filled with unreasonable irritation, on guard. Their mind was racing, everything was racing. They felt woozy but right now they were ignoring all of that. No time to rest! They had to do this! The last stretch!

They had been in such a rush that they had even picked up Ole from the couch to carry him while running outside, telling their Mom that they would be heading out for the time being. Once taking a step outside the door they felt something pulling the both in, right to the Palace in question, their own Palace.

Ole had hopped off their arms, turning into his humanoid form as he jumped to the ground. As for Lukanja, their attire changed asap, taking on the appearance of Swan. All at least one more time. Though they weren't sure if it was going to be the last time. But that didn't matter right now.

Shortly upon arriving they already saw him standing there, Crow. He somehow made it here before the two of them could. And he was even scoffing at both. "You text me to hurry and aren't quite on time yourself." Though they could see that smirk even beneath his mask. It was a little more light hearted than first thought.

"Sorry, but getting Ole off the couch took a bit." They 'apologized'.

"Mrow! I had a good nap!" The cat defended himself.

"Haha, got it. But just saying~" They responded yet that conversation had to be cut short. And cut short it was, a wind suddenly brewing.

No, literally, the wind was suddenly blowing, strong enough that one might think that they would fall over at any point, flat onto the ground. However. everyone was still standing, only to be met with a familiar figure. This one twirled around on one leg, right in the air before facing the trio, floating right in front of them. Oh and its mask, an even wider smile than before. "Aaand all the big actors have gathered~" It chuckled. "Good, very good. None of you quit. We can start our final performance."

"Look who also showed up to the party." Ake— No, Crow scoffed once more, this time a little less amused. That wasn't exactly surprising though, given how he always seemed to enjoy the being's presence... Which meant that he wasn't really enjoying it. But who was surprised? It was the same as usual.

"Hey now. If Pipistrello is here, it means that it was a guaranteed success." Swan tried to remind him, then turning to it. "Right?"

"Ohoho. You are asking me? I know nothing of the sorts my dear." It responded however. Though at most it only made them roll their eyes.

"If you already start like that then something's up. Not just that but I don't take you as the type who wants to waste its time. And you spoke about a 'final performance' so..."

It cackled. "Ah, so you started to pay attention finally. Looks like I can't hide everything from you anymore."

"So the treasure's within reach." O concluded.

"Oh yes, it is. Just within your grasp." Pipistrello agreed, humming a little. "But first, you might be interested in learning— Ah no, I shouldn't spoil the surprise. See for yourselves."

"Ourselves? Seriously? Just tell us."

"Ahaha, but old man. You should know the best that the best thing in lives is a bit of suspense."

"This old man would rather sleep through life than having a bit of suspense."

"How dull~"

"I didn't ask you!" O hissed at the end. The other two were witnessing this conversation. Crow shook his head while Swan only chuckled when looking at this sight. Though as pleasing as it was, it took up some time.

"You're prepared, aren't you?" He even asked them, trying to not think about it too much.

"Pretty much. But I can double check." They responded. Was there anything they still had to do? They didn't know nor could they think of anything... But who knows.

"Then hurry. Once we enter we probably won't get out of there anytime soon."

"Heh, you got it." This is it then, huh. The 'final performance' as Pipistrello put it. Then it's time to not disappoint.

They can't lose this. Succeeding is the only option here.
