Playing on the same grounds gods are having their fun little time. Pipistrello was not someone who would sweat those details in particular and honestly, this fella could care less about it altogether. This being was just here for a fun time. One day to just appear, only to disappear once the fun is all over. And what had caught the eye this time? Haha, oho, that was a good question! A good one indeed!

Once more, the ground of gods messes with the mind of others. Playing their twisted games on humanity as a whole. Using them as tools to prove a point either to themselves or to others. No regards for anyone or anything!

Then again, Pipistrello wasn’t so different either. This jester would lie if the words would fall out of the mask. “ I care for people. ” It wasn’t that. It is never about that. What matters more is to make this entertaining. A little game. No, it wasn’t necessarily a game. At least those words wouldn’t cut it. A play, now that’s better!

Pipistrello had been watching the things go down. Yaldabaoth was sure playing some nasty game. Picking a young boy for a nasty game, or so mankind would probably see it. Gift someone in times of despair the power necessary to take down anything and anyone, creating this false sense of having unlimited power. Oh what a fool. But it also looked like so much fun.

Pipistrello had thought about it for some time now. ‘What if I just show up and have a bit of the fun myself?’ – A common thought when seeing the entire play go down. How the boy chosen by the false god seemed to slowly destroy himself over the years. And only recently the prisoner had been lured out of his little prison, granted the same if not more power. Nah, one may not say more power but powerful in its own way. A winner and a loser. Oh truly, amusing. Very amusing. The nature of a game, only one can come out as a winner! … Right?

Oh but dear, why not twist this a little? Where’s the fun in that? Having a clear victor and a clear loser. No, that won’t do. These rules are a little too simple. A little bit of tempering around won’t hurt anyone.

But during the scout Pipistrello had been caught by this oh–so frightening god. Hence why this god had gotten a little visit, though one of the first things coming from his mouth… Honestly, that could make this clown by choice laugh.

“This is not your playground!” A warning, straightforward yet honestly it may as well just have been the air at that point.

“Haha, so what?” A laughter in response, a well earned laughter one might add. “I’m just going to have some fun.”

“Fun!? You’re an unwelcome guest! Now begone!”

“Hmm… Nah, don’t feel like it.”

“Come again!?”

“I said that I don’t feel like it. Besides, I’m in the middle of something here myself.”

Yaldabaoth had let out a groan at such a response. Oh he was annoyed, very annoyed. It was obvious that he saw Pipistrello as a pest, some cockroach which is impossible to get rid of. Usually no one would even dare to respond the way this mere being did but what was this poor, poor thing of a god supposed to do? Slice Pipistrello into pieces? Hah, you see, all of these tricks don’t work. Many have tried before but all failed. Every single attempt felt more ticklish than the last. It was cute to see them try at the very least.

“If you interfere in any of my plans…” That was the response Pipistrello got after a good moment of silence. The god had stretched out his massive arms, ready to transform them perhaps. Yet one good look and a moment of thinking made him rethink that decision quickly, thus he had pulled it down in the end. It showed that he was no fun sometimes. “I will be upfront… I don’t trust you in the slightest.”

“Aww, why thank you~” The only response Pipistrello had before giving the mask another wide grin, one of pure amusement. “And it won't be me interfering but my star actor.”

“A star actor you claim. And here I thought you were here ‘to have fun’...”

“Oh, but I will have my fun. After all, a good show is entertaining on its own. I just feel like taking the director’s seat.”

“Of course…” A quick sigh but one which was just too funny not to mention. As for answers, this god was sure digging for them. “And who will be your so–called ‘star actor’ exactly?”

“Patience, patience. I’m still figuring it out.” The being responded. Oh the rush. Spoiling the surprise wouldn’t be any fun. Yet it was also true. Such a decision must be made carefully. “But… I have my eye on someone very special. You won't mind, will you?”

“I do actually.” The groaning response.

“Hah! That’s too bad then! Besides, you play the two boys for fiddles too after all. So I don’t wanna hear it big boy~”

Oh the air of disapproval, one could easily sense it. Pipistrello loved to joke around but this being is certainly no fool. Mingling in the world this god decided to mingle a little, it was a fun time. And the star actor did not disappoint so far!

But that’s the catch, so far. While it is their own decision it would be an end cut short if this story ended here. Though it certainly looks like it… Hmm…

Why not pull a few strings though? After all, there is one more thing they need to do for their own big finale. And a director’s job is to guide them into this direction, isn’t it? – This story is far from over. Then again, may as well just be a gut feeling.
