Chapter Eighty three

HANA

I waited for her to come back, but weeks passed and not even a shadow of her showed up. I have a lot of questions since that day I listened to the recorder.

Matapus marinig ang mga sinabi niya, I cried like a child na para bang wala ng bukas ang iyak ko. My heart was aching, it was so painful that I feel like I lost air. I was suffocating. Subrang sakit na hindi ko maipaliwanag kung bakit.

"Class dismissed" After saying that all my students stood up and hurry to walk in the door.

I arrange the books I used and put my laptop inside its bag. After arranging my things I was about to go out when I notice someone in the corner.

A girl was sitting silently. She looks like she don't know what's happening around her. She was just staring at the wall blankly and didn't even blink.

I sighed and put my things down. I walk towards her and knock on her table to take her back to her senses.

She flinch and look up to me.

"Miss..." She look around and gulped when she realized that she's the only student here.

I took a chair and sat down in front of her. I didn't broke an eye contact to her. She looks uncomfortable so she look away.

I notice her legs shaking.

"What's wrong Nica?" I asked her calmly.

"I...I was just...I mean...I'm just sleepy, Miss, I'm so sorry"

"You don't look sleepy at all" I pointed out.

"W-will you believe me if I told you that monster are real?" She then look at me with a scared face like she saw one.

I shrugged and cross my legs "Of course, monsters are real, people who will deceive and manipulate you, they are monsters. Animals that will attack you with no reason..they are also monsters"

She shook her head "No, Miss..." Her eyes stared at me intensely "What I mean is monsters like Vampires, wolves and witches monsters that so called supernatural"

I want to laugh but of course, I can't do that. I remain quite and just let her talk.

"I was in a cemetery last night, I was visiting my grandmother because it's her birthday and I'm the only one who remembers it" she smiled bitterly.

From what I heard, her mother was always a busy woman who works in a hospital and her father left them because he found another woman to be with.

Her grandmother died last year if I'm not mistaken.

Nica is one of a competitive student who always win in a brain contest. She's smart and also loves to party so she is really famous here.

Everyone is her friend.

"Then there was a noise. Curious, I look for that noise...then there I saw a group of people-or should I say witches. They were chanting something and there was a dead werewolf in the middle while they were in circle. The wind started to be cold...I was so scared so I decided to go home but then when I was about to head home, there's this girl who walk towards me, she looks so pale yet she looks healthy, her eyes is red. She told me to be safe" she gulped "But her voice sound so fake"
