Beep....beep...

Bruce frowned at the battled body of Nayara. She hadn't woken up, despite the doctor believing she would.

Richard Grayson remained at the edge of the room, not daring to take a step closer. "She should have woken up by now." Richard said with difficulty.

Bruce turned to him. Richard had came every single afternoon to visit her. "I tried looking for her as soon as I realized she was late. But I couldn't find her." Richard explained to him.

"It wasn't your fault." Bruce said to him. It was his. He was supposed to drive Nayara, but he got held back. If he had been there before Selina had arrived.

Richard walked closer to the bed, watching her rest. "They found something back at the warehouse." Richard said to him, passing him the drive and the folder. It had an image of Steve laying dead. "I have seen his picture in her apartment." Richard quietly said.

Bruce sighed, putting a hand on his face. The cruelty of Sharon was like nothing he had ever seen. Made him furious, but he knew better. "She will wake up." Bruce said to Richard.

A knock on the door broke their attention. Selina frowned, looking at the body of Nayara. "I can come later..." She began but Bruce cut her off. He stood up quickly, closing the door behind him.

"Please, go." Bruce said to her.

"I came in ..." She began put he cut her off once more.

"Walk away." Bruce said, turning his back towards her. "You don't get to be here. You have done enough." He snapped, focusing on the hero that fighting for her life.

She looked down at the floor. "She trusted me." Selina said to him, knowing the truth. Nayara had trusted her enough to enter her car.

However, that information didn't helped the situation at all. It worsen it. Especially since Bruce knew Nayara. "She doesn't trust that many people. I was hoping she didn't trust you." Bruce replied to her. Selina sighed, walking away with her flowers. "Never set foot near her ever again. Selina." He sternly said. Selina gave him one last look before walking away from it.

Even Harley Queen had looked for Batman's help when she heard what Lex had planned. Harley Queen had helped him track Nayara down. All because she had owned her a favor. Now she stood between life and death.

Richard took a seat near her bed. "I am here. Please wake up. You aren't alone." He whispered to her, holding her hand. He prayed she will wake up. Despite the doctor's telling Bruce the chances of her doing so are none-existent, he also hoped she would. Ever since they bought her back to the hospital all she began to do is deteriorate.

"Mr. Wayne." Cisco said, looking up to the millionaire in front of him. "I work with Barry Allen back at Star Labs...he said to share the results of lab work we did with Nayara." Cisco said to him.

"You are a long way from Central City." Bruce said to him, accepting the blood work. He frowned, seeing the charts different from the rest.

Cisco sighed, looking up to him. "I need to talk to you in private. It's about Nayara." Cisco informed him. "Barry might have found the reason why she isn't waking up. However, we can't tell the doctors." Cisco added to him.

Bruce nodded, following Cisco out of the hospital. "What is it?" Bruce asked him.

"Her body isn't healing." Cisco said to him.

"That part is clear." Bruce added. However, Cisco had a more concern look on his face.

"Are you aware of what she was, Mr. Wayne?" Cisco asked him. Bruce didn't answer, but knew what Cisco meant to say. Nayara had talked to him about her powers all the time. "Barry said I could tell you, because Nayara is your friend...even if I don't think it's a good idea. Mr. Wayne, are you aware she is a meta-human." Cisco said.
