NAYARA WAITED patiently until things had calm down. Barry refused to let her stay in her apartment alone now that Sharon was freed. A sicking feeling was within her, wondering when this torment will end.

Her phone rang and she saw a call from Nightwing. "You are okay?" Nayara asked worriedly, wondering how he was standing against the League of Shadows.

"I am okay, everything died down." Nightwing said to her. He had noticed the concern in her voice and his heart leaped a bit. "Everything okay at the Wayne's?" Nayara asked him.

"We are all accounted for. I gather you got Alfred's message." Nightwing said to her.

Alfred had messaged Nayara asking her to stay away from Gotham. But Nayara wasn't hurt, she knew about the attack and who had purposely had sent the message.

Her mind went back to Sharon escaping, and orchestrated the attack; making her feel guilty "And I gather you know who knows about Sharon too?" Nayara said to him.

"We suspect it was an orchestrated attack. One to leave them to free Sharon, we don't know why yet." Nightwing informed her.

"Don't worry about me. I am with Flash at the moment. After the news I would be in house arrest for the foreseeable future." Nayara told him with regret in her voices.

"Nay?" Nightwing said on the phone. "If you need bailing out you can just call. I will be there in a heartbeat." Nightwing added. Nayara's own heart leaped as well.

. . .

Nayara sighed looking at Barry Allen. "You know I can stay by myself for a second. I don't need to be in house arrest." Nayara commented to him.

"You are not in house arrest." Barry pointed out.

"You need to get to your tux appointment in ten minutes." Nayara reminded him. "I will be fine. I have call to make. Plus, you are just one call away." Nayara reminded him. Barry sighed. "Come on Bruce let me stay by myself and nothing happened." Nayara pointed out.

"You got taken." Barry said to her.

"Now that was my own for trusting someone I shouldn't." Nayara intervened. "It wasn't Bruce's fault that one. It's mine and in the process I risked their life." Nayara informed him. "Barry, just go I will be fine. Really. Plus, I need a call to make." Nayara encouraged him and he left.

. . .

Nayara looked at her screen, after getting debriefed by Nightwing she knew she needed to talk to Bruce.

When the call was answered, she saw the scratches and bruises in Bruce Wayne's face. "Good to see you alive and breathing." Nayara said to him. "I think you heard the news, about Sharon?" Nayara added.

"We will handle her." Bruce said to her.

"I am afraid of what the League of Shadows know. It could get really bad very quickly." Nayara thought about what will happen if the League of Shadows knew of an alternate world they could invade.

Bruce saw the regret in Nayara's eyes. "I am sorry. This is my fault." Nayara said to him. She hated putting other at risk. She felt completely destroyed.

"It's nobody fault. You didn't ask for any of this. Nobody does." Bruce said to her.

"My powers, they aren't coming back. Are they?" Nayara asked, looking at him. "I know they aren't, but if they were somehow will you do it? Take the power." Nayara asked him, thinking of the ring.

Bruce looked at her. There were dark spots under her eyes once more. "I don't know." Bruce answered honestly.
