THIRD POV (after so long)
Y/N stood there... She pressed her fingers to her temples, her brows furrowed so tightly it looked like she was holding back a sob. Her chest rose and fell unevenly, the sorrow in her expression unmistakable. Her lips trembled, parted slightly, as if searching for words that refused to come.
She panted, beginning to hyperventilate, looking around. Her eyes darting from one person to the next, watching as they began to clear out the area with the help of other sorcerers.
But all she saw were obstacles, the reasons behind her weakness, the reason she couldn't kill Suguru when she had the chance. If it weren't for them swarming the area, she could've killed him...
But no, she couldn't. She had to investigate. It wasn't so simple. But that wasn't going through her mind, the only thoughts forming in her mind were all the ways she messed up. She should've killed him, she should not have cared about the collateral damage, she should've cared about the one thing that mattered: her husband.
She stood there. A pit beginning to form in her stomach. An emptiness—no, a crushing loneliness—enveloped her.

SECOND POV
Your mind was a blur as you ran, protecting civilians from curse after curse. Suguru had released an influx of cursed spirits, and you were now protecting those that you could. Your cheeks had your dried up tears on them, as you operated with a single goal. Kill the cursed spirits. Everyone had become aware at this point... of Satoru being sealed, so everyone was suddenly more on edge. More careful.
Because who knows what else may come?

An hour or two had gone by, you had just finished up killing all of the cursed spirits in Shibuya. Yes, the entire area had been swept clean, marked by a trail of snow and frozen sculptures—evidence of the force that had passed through. While doing this, you had also evacuated many of the non-sorcerers to areas where they'd be safer. Of course, they were still trapped within the veil, but... It was safer than being out in the open. The outskirts of the trapped area was overlooked by a lot of sorcerers as they began flooding in to where the main fighting was happening. As a result, cursed spirits could easily attack humans who couldn't defend themselves at all.
Panting and dusting yourself off, you paused when...
You felt a change in cursed energy... you knew that change. Sukuna. It was Sukuna... But you were further out in Shibuya. This meant he had taken control of Yuji earlier and was now moving through the area. Or, yuji lost control, and he's only now taken control.
The bottom line: he's near.
You pushed your body to its limits, running desperately to locate the source. Where was he? Could you even track him this way?
Yes, yes. Of course you can. Remember who you are. Remember your role.
You are currently the strongest sorcerer who's mobile, who's able to defend everyone here.
You were the next best option hours ago... But now, you are the best option.
You began to try and track him, when... You looked up in the sky, a huge meteor in the distance.
Shit!
You ran at maximum speed, using your cursed technique to help you out. (like frozone almost...)
The meteor crashed into the ground... damn it! If only you could teleport like--
No, no, stop it! Focus! Stop sulking over your shortcomings, Y/N!
