"Pinky promise, Satoru?" A young Y/N held her pinky out, looking at the cold boy's icy eyes with her warm ones.
He interlocked his little finger with hers and spoke in the warmest tone he could use. A small smile formed on his face.
"Pinky prom...
Your eyelids were heavy, it was taking all of your strength to open them.
The first thing you saw was your purse... that purse was old. Wait... Just how-
You heard Satoru's voice, and you looked up. "I'm back, missed me?" He chuckled, walking over to sit opposite to you. He had those sunglasses on from when you two were younger... That hairstyle, that teenage look in his eyes. Was this before or after Suguru...? You racked through your memory, all the dates you two had.
As if on autopilot, you responded just like you did when you were younger.
"Totally!" You grinned, "Let's get dessert."
You felt like you were watching the past, like a prisoner in your body, unable to control your movements and only able to see what was happening.
He chuckled, nodding. "Pick what you like." He smiled, handing you the menu. "Cutie."
You felt a heat rise to your cheeks, your heart beating faster. Right. This was early on in your relationship.
You watched as you pointed to a slice of cake, then asking him if he wanted it too. As you watched the interaction, you realized details that you missed. The soft look in his eyes, the smile he gave you, his calming tone. It was a stark difference from how he usually was back then... and now. You smiled to yourself, at least you thought you were. He still had that same look, thinking about it. He was always gentle with you. Maybe not always gentle in bed, but-
Anyways.
Just as you wanted to continue watching this moment, this memory which you had forgotten... or one which was tucked in the back of your mind, you suddenly saw... nothing. As if you turned off your TV.
You heard nothing, felt nothing, saw nothing.
And then... you saw a faint glimmering... like the stars. Soon, around you, the cosmos began to glow, what looked like a nebula surrounding you. The glow of the stars growing bright, and you now saw that you were floating within this nebula.

You took in the scenery... it was beautiful.
Your eyes hovered over all the stars surrounding you, and you tried to move to another spot, but that was hard while just floating. Then... all of a sudden, you felt your body moving in the direction you wanted to go. As if the cosmos listened to you, and granted you your wish.
You then remembered, Tengen had given you a note. You reached in your pocket, the note still there. You opened it, and began to read.
"Each memory that you will witness translates to approximately one day back here. So, you need to go through 19 memories. We will have Hana use Jacob's Ladder on the 19th day.
