Chapter seventeen

Could Jessica really be falling for a vampire? Who is Joseph? Is he pulling Jessica's leg? Let's find out! 

Chapter 17

            Just to make sure he was and I wouldn’t end up looking like a fool I type in 'Vampire'. A very useful site pop up "Please type in the signs of your vampire" I read.

I type in 'Pale' 'dark eyes' 'red lips' 'fast' and 'strong

. The results "you got yourself a real vampire" it said. I gasp and got up from the chair and back away from the computer.

            He knows my scent he knows where I live. My heart pounded out of my chest I was scared but then I have to remind myself he saved me. He can't be all bad 'Knock knock' "Jesse time for bed" said my Aunt.

I look at my clock 11:30, "okay Auntie" she look at my computer and saw the web page "oh no wonder you’re getting constant nightmares!" she said.

I scoffed and got into bed aunt Cara kissed me good night and off to the forbidden mountains I went.

"Connor help me...I'm lost...I'm scared...I'm all alone....please come and find me" I said I walk throughout the cliff like always this time I just stood near the trees.

            I felt a hand touch me I turned around to see Connor he look more in control.

He kissed my forehead and said "I miss you" I smiled and said "I miss you so much" tears rolled down my face.

"Come home" my voice echoed

"I wish I could but I can't I'm weak" he said

"I'll take care of you" I cried

he held me tight he lift me up and kiss me for the first time in months a dream that was good. I kiss his neck traveling up to his mouth

"no Jessica stop...stop...please! I'm gonna lose it!" I didn't stop stupid me. Connor let me go he growled and roared. I started screaming.

            "Jessica! Jessica!!!!!" two cold hands were shaking me I opened my eyes and Joseph was sitting on my bed.

"Joseph?" I whimpered

"Shhh shhh" he stroked my check making the sweat go away.

"What were you dreaming about?" he ask

"just nightmare of me falling" I said.

"You’re not very good at lying Jessica" he said.

I pick my head up "I know what happened to that wolf...I had all respect for Connor Wright....you constantly have nightmares of him....the same one over and over again" he said with his tender voice. I hugged Joseph instantly and whispered

"I know who you are" he closed his eyes and whispered in my ear "Who I’m Jesse?"

            I let go of him and got up from the bed "a vampire" I said softly.

He got up and look at me "then you know from old tales I eat humans" he growled standing up.

I held on to my computer chair. "Umm I think so please....don't eat me" I said.

"I can't smell your blood very well...it's very faint but to the wolf it's strong" he held me close to him and cradled me.

"It's gonna be okay Jessica" he whispered. I wrap my arms around him we both laid on my bed the moon shining off his skin made him look so appealing.

            "Are you afraid of me?" he asked.

At the time I wasn't the fear I had was just automatic fear something told me I’m suppose too be afraid. "Should I be afraid?" I ask softly.

"No" he said he touch my cheek again it felt good I haven't felt this way in a while I moved closer to him I shivered a bit

. "I’m too cold for you?" he asked sweetly

"No…" I shivered. He pulled me close to him and I felt his lips touch me. It was electrocuting sending my pulse racing.

            "I'm sorry" he whispered pulling away.

"No, don't stop" I said he took off his jacket and place it on top of me the pull the covers over me.

"I gotta keep you safe from my body...its coldness can freeze you to death" he said Joseph lay right next to me.

He came closer to me and he kissed me again.

"Don't ever die" I said breathlessly "I will never" he said calmly

"I can't its impossible" he said.

            I pulled him closer to me and unbuttoned his shirt I carefully kiss him he kept stroking my hair. A half hour of us kissing each other my body shivered of his cold skin not once it bothered me that he's the undead. I woke up the next morning I was late for school. Joseph wasn't there could it be a dream or for real then I notice my shirt unbutton it wasn’t a dream. I got dress and rush to school it was only second period.

            I went to my locker and took my books out; I couldn’t bear to look at the picture of Connor. I feel like I cheated on him I felt terrible but at the same time happy. I closed my locker behind the tall cold statue himself.

"Joseph? How were you able not to bite me" I ask.

"Years of practice" he muttered getting off the lockers.

My heart pounded he held my head in his hands "stop your heart pounding....I'm not gonna eat you" he said. I felt like a fool.

            I laid my head on his chest; no heartbeat. Joseph rock me gently I heard him growl a bit "I'm gonna take care of you...It's something Connor would want" he whispered.

"I thought vampires and werewolves hated each other" I said

"I'm not like that I see no difference....they call me outcast for that....now that I'm in love with a human I'm more an outcast" he said.

"You’re in love with me?" I ask

"only if you love me back" he said. I held Joseph closer thoughts of Connor zoomed into my mind.

"Move on Jessica" he said once.

"I will love you Joseph" I whispered I felt a smile appear on my face as he held me tighter.

            It was the start of a new chapter for me.  My feelings for Connor were still there though I could not get rid of them. I don't dare to tell Joseph I hope they will go away. For now I have a new danger and love in my life I wanna know what he knows feel what he feels I'm falling in love with a vampire.
