Chapter 51

We were leaving the arena. Dean and I had our own room this time, it was one that connected to Seth and Roman's room. It had two beds, and I took the bigger one. I hopped on the bed and Dean smiles. "I've missed this." He says. "Me too." I say. He kisses me. He swipes his tongue in my mouth. I then realize, he's still searching for my frickin tooth. Or lack of tooth. I pull away and say "Are you really on this tooth?" He smiles a cheeky smile. "If you want me to stop, I could." Dean says. "I would love for you to not kiss me or run your tongue on my teeth." I say. He smiles. The door that connects to Seth and Roman's room opens. "Nice place." Seth says. "Isn't it? I get the big bed." I respond. Roman smirks at Dean. They walk into the kitchen. Seth says "Wonder what they are talking about." I shrug. "Probably why Dean is somehow in a relationship." I say. He laughs. "That makes no sense. Your dating him." He says.
Tomorrow. Smackdown taping
We walked in the building and I avoided Paige, Becky and Charlotte. I went into the Shield's locker room and it was a mess. One corner is actually clean. Paige, Charlotte and Becky were talking with Roman, Seth and Dean. Paige stands up. I see a camera, and I just smirk at her. "Hey Paigie, so glad I didn't miss this meeting." I say. She glares. "So glad you missed it." She says. "Pumpkin, I think I've got all I need to know." I say in that fake thick British accent. "Watch it Lee." Charlotte says. I smile. "Sorry I didn't mean to step on your toes. I mean after all you have been here longer than me, your more experienced, and you most definitely don't stab people in the back.... Oh wait." I say. "Do what you do best AJ. Walk away, this doesn't concern you." Becky says. "Actually." Dean starts. "Shut up." Paige shouts. He looks down then Roman says "You." "Shut up." Charlotte shouts. "Did."Seth says. "What isn't clear to you about Shut Up?" Becky shouts. Dean raises his hand. "Ladies. Eyes on me, not him. Don't involve these idiots who would blindly follow a fly. It's between us, which means we are going to handle it out there." I say I roll my eyes and skip away. I decide to ignore Dean, Seth and Roman. There wasn't anywhere to go. The divas locker room was filled with everyone I hated. Which meant I sat in there listening to their whispers. Eventually I realized that Paige would be having a match. I left the locker room and waited for them to go out. Just before the match started I hit my music and she shouts at me. I smile and skip to the top of the ramp. I skip down to the commentary table and take a chair from Byron. I watch as Paige shouts at me to leave, but she gets refocused and pays attention to this match. When it's over I climb on the ropes and smile at Paige. She makes eye contact with me as she puts a poor Black widow on Nikki. I smile even bigger. "Congrats on the win." I say. I put my hand out, really unsure if she will shake it. She puts her hand out and she turns around and gets out the ring. I skip to the back and Dean says "Wanna talk about Paige now? I know you have been avoiding us." I shrug. "AJ." Bayley says from behind me. I turn around and she says "I get to face Paige for the title at the next pay per view." I almost frown but I smile. "Awesome. Until then, leave Paige mine." I say. She nods and walks away. "What do you have up that sleeve?" Dean asks. "I'd tell you, buttttt I want no one to really know." I say. "Does it involve me?" He asks. "I could if you want." I say. He shrugs. "Great. Bye." I say. I skip to the divas locker room. I shower and change. I sit down by my locker and Brie just gives me a dirty look. Like what gives?! Ever since I came back, everyone including Paige hates me. Nikki walks in with tears streaming down her cheeks. "Brie. I ended it. I just can't do it." She says. "Ended what?" Brie asks. "Ended John and I's relationship. I couldn't. I realized I love..." She quiets down and whispers in Bries ear. "Seth?" She asks quite loudly. Everyone looks from one another and runs out of the room. I walk and see where they go. They all go to the Shields locker room. No one answers. I look to see if Paige is there and of course she isn't. I go forward and open the door. I lock it behind me and Paige is sitting on the couch. "Come on. One kiss. You and I both know AJ's just gotta be out of the picture." She says. "I'd totally do that, except for Seth would totally destroy the Shield again." Dean says. "That's the only reason right?" Paige asks. "Absolutely babe." He says I open the door then close it loudly. "Hey Dean. Have you seen Seth?" I ask. He moves his hand away from Paige and says "Uhm, no. I don't know where he's at." I nod and walk out. I let a tear slip out. I thought he actually cared. I guess I was wrong. I walked down a hall way and I saw John. "Hey." He says. I smile at him. "Hey." I respond. "Everything okay?" He asks. "Not really, but I don't want to talk about it." I say. "Oh, Relationship issues?" He asks. I nod. "Luckily for you I have them too. I'm out of one, that's my issue." He says. "Did you really love her?" I ask. He nods. "I mean, honestly she might be a better woman than I've ever been, but that might be a bad thing." I say. "That's very true. I need a girl like you. I don't have to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on you and you still be happy." Did he just ask me out?! "Are you asking me out?" I ask. "I am, if your down with it." He responds. Maybe if I have a little fun with John, it will get my mind off Dean cheating on me. "Um, it sounds fun." I say. "Great, so I assume you still have my number?" He asks. I nod. "Great. So, I'll text you later if that's cool." He says. I nod. "Yes. Okay." I say. I smile. This is something new. I've never really been involved with John. "Are you sure your okay John?" I ask. He nods. "Just shocked. Nikki and I have always had an honest relationship with one another. How could she dump me after 6 years. Out of the blue." He says. "Dean cheated on me with someone who stabbed me in the back." I say after a moment of silence. A few tears slip out and he gets up off the chair. He squeezes me tight in a hug. "I'm so sorry. A man should never treat his princess like that." John says. I smirk. "What princess do you know that wears converse?" I ask. "The one I'm about to kiss." He says. He kisses me softly. I kiss back for a second then. I hear crying soft into the distance. We pull away and I spot Nikki. "John. I was going to apologize for breaking up with you. I realized that it was a mistake, until I see you and AJ kissing." She says. I can tell that she's filming total Divas. I love this. They can't put it on TV. I had signed a contract that I couldn't appear on any of the shows. "Nicole. You realize that I understand mistakes, but you say it was a mistake because Seth rejected you." He says harshly. She flinched a little. His eyes softened a little, then hardened again. "Fine." She says before storming away. "This won't be good." I say. "Why?" He asks. Is be stupid?! "I get your usually on the positive with Nikki. Speaking from the negative it won't be." I respond. He shrugs. We hold hands and walk around. Seth gives me this weird look as we pass him. "I'll see you after my match." He says. I nod and he gives me a hug and walks away. "What are you doing?" He asks. "Just hanging out with John?" I respond. "He's the competition you can't do anything about it. We are and always will be." He says. I nod and walk away completely ignoring it. I go to Catering and see Renee there. "Hi." I say sitting at her table. She smiles. "Did you hear? They are separating Raw and Smackdown more so than usual. The world heavy weight title and the WWE title will separate by the end of the year." She says. "That's awesome." I state. I hated that they were joined. Dean walks in with an arm around Nikki. She has a smirk plastered on her face. John walks in with a towel around his neck and he walks over and sits next to me.
