Scarlets POV:
I woke up before Niall, like usual, and snuck out of the room and down to the main floor. The ceilings were very high and music was playing. I slowly walked to the coffee shop and ordered a peppermint latte.
I sat down at a table and dialed my moms number. I was going to tell her....
The phone rang twice before she picked up.
"Scarlet! Hello!" She squealed in so much excitement.
"Hi, mom" I laughed.
"Where are you? Hows it going?"
"I'm actually in Bali right now, at a coffee shop."
"You lucky girl. My little baby is so grown up! I miss you!"
"Well mom, I'm even more grown up now!"
"Oh I know you are! You grow up more and more everyday!"
"Mom, thats not what I meant!" I laughed at her.
"Well, what do you mean?"
"Mom....Im getting married" I said quietly.
"OH MY...Scarlet! When did this happen? When is it? Where?" She started freaking out.
"Im not sure mom. It only happen like yesterday!"
"Scarlet...are you ready for this? Its a big deal, and you haven't even finished college or found a career. I mean you are only 22...I just feel like this is a big deci-"
"Mom, dont worry. I know what I am doing and I can feel it. Trust me. This is what needs to happen. I can't imagine life any differently" I told her.
"Have you guys, uh, you know, done-"
"MOM!"
"Im sorry! I'm just curious!"
I laughed.
"Well, no, not really..Don't worry. I will still always be your little girl"
"Well, Scarlet, Im proud of you. Proud to be your mom. I'll leave you now! I love you."
"I love you mom" I said and made a kissy noise before hanging up.
I put my feet on the chair and closed my eyes. How did I get so lucky?
I thought I felt a hand touch my shoulder, but I turned around to see nothing. I stood up and walked around the hotel, grabbing a chocolate chip muffin, and an apple. I entered a shop which had beautiful dresses, bathing suits, and and jewelry. A man and a woman were inside, behind the desk, laughing. They looked about 30.
"Hello, miss" The man said to me.
I nodded my head and smiled.
"Anything you're looking for specific today?" He asked.
"Nothing special. Just looking around" I answered.
They nodded and turned back to each other, laughing again.
They looked so happy, and I started to wonder if they were married.
I walked up to them and asked, "Can I ask you something"
"Sure" They both said.
"Are you guys married?"
"Why, yes we are" The woman answered.
"Wow! Thats amazing!" I said to her.
"It is! It really is"
"I hope I can be as happy as you guys are when I'm older."
