"Well hello diner girl." Shawn said as he walked up to me.

"Hey pop star." I smiled and put down the rag. "Take a seat anywhere and I'll be right with you." I saw him sit down and he took out a notebook from his backpack. I grabbed my notepad and went over to take his order.

"So what will the pop star like for today?"I smiled, standing in front of him.

"I'll take a green tea and apple pie please." He smiled back and I nodded.

"So what is it with you coming to this diner everyday now." I asked as I walked over to prepare his tea and cut him a slice apple pie.

"I already told you, I want to keep you company."

"How sweet." I smirked and he chuckled. "So I should be expecting you here everyday?"

"Correct."

"I'm gonna be here a while, you don't have to stay."

"I don't have to, but I want to, that way I can walk you to your car."

"Okay." I smiled and went back into the kitchen to wash the dishes, leaving him to eat his pie.

After this day Shawn kept his promise, coming to the diner as he said, everyday, and somehow we always found something to talk about whether it was about music, school, his fans, and even things I don't tell anyone. We would talk for hours, making my work go by quicker. I felt different with him, but the feeling was very similar.

It was finally Christmas break and I had about three weeks until I got back into school. Once I walked out of my last period of the day I made my way to my car to quickly get home. Luckily Mike closed early this morning due to many broken water pipes he never decided to tend to. So today I can go have a nice, cheap dinner with my brothers and watch an old movie with them. As I walked to my car I checked my messages on my phone and for once Shawn didn't text me, instead it was Adrian.

Adrian: Hey cutie, what are you doing tonight?

Me: Nothing much, why what's up?

I responded and I got into my car. I started the ignition and made my way out of the school parking lot. As I drove home I hummed to the song lightly playing on the radio. Once it was finished the announcer began to speak.

"That was the crazy talented Shawn Mendes from our own town here in Toronto with his hit song Stitches, don't forget we will be giving out a four pack of tickets here tomorrow at eight in the morning."

"What a coincidence." I chuckled. I made a right on my street and entered the parking garage of my apartment. I grabbed my backpack and made my way upstairs to the apartment. As I made my way up I checked my phone once again and saw a text not only from Adrian, but also from Shawn.

Adrian: I'm throwing a party tonight at 7 and I was wondering if you wanted to come.

Sexy Shawn: Hey diner girl, are you busy tonight?

Before I responded I walked into my apartment and dropped all of my things at the door and checked to see if my brothers had gotten home.

"Hunter? Jacob? Are you guys here?" I yelled as I went into their room.

"Yeah we're here." Jacob said as he put his backpack away. I walked further into their room and saw Hunter asleep on the bed. I went over and caressed his hair, placing a kiss on his forehead.

"Hey Jacob can I talk to you?" I quietly said, a bit hesitant because I didn't want to start a fight. This passed months I've tried my best to connect with Jacob again, although it was a slow process, I needed him to know that I'm still his sister.
