I felt myself slowly start to wake up, one arm wrapped around my bare waist as another was rubbing circles on my temple. I fluttered my eyes open, meeting with Elijah's dark brown eyes. I smiled, yawning as I buried my face into his pillow.

"Goodmorning Nicolioli." He chuckled and brushed my hair out of my face.

"Goodmorning Elijy." I blushed and moved closer to him, placing a long kiss on his lips. I lifted my hand up and cupped his cheek, our lips moving in sync before I pulled back. "I could get used to waking up like this."

"Believe me, me too." He smiled and I rested my head on his chest, hugging his waist while he caressed my back lightly with his fingers. I traced the large tattoo on his chest that was leading down to his sleeve on his arm. I could hear him breathing, his heart racing a bit which made me smile.

"Do I make your nervous Elijy?" I asked as I now laid on my stomach, my hands tucked under my chin as they rested on his chest. He simply chuckled a bit, rolling his eyes while he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

"You can say that, Nicolioli." He smirked and I smiled, just staring at him like a dork.

"I like making you smile, it was always so hard before, I remember you never let anyone see you smile or laugh."

"Well, you make it hard to not smile." He blushed and I playfully shoved him. "God, you were so annoying when I met you."

"Hey." I furrowed my eyebrows and he let out a laugh.

"You were! You literally spent a whole week trying to get me to smile and then you spent another week trying to scare me."

"I was successful wasn't I?" I raised an eyebrow and he nodded.

"And look at where we are now." He grinned and he continued to scratch my back lightly as I got closer to his face and rested my head. I sort of just stayed quiet, remembering when we first met and how broken I was when I met him. I don't even know how he became my sponsor, it kind of just happened. I'm glad it did.

"What's on your mind princess?" He spoke, furrowing his eyebrows, and could feel butterflies in my stomach.

"Did you ever think this would happen?" I asked as I continued to trace his tattoo.

"Honestly, no." He sighed and began to stroke my hair. "Only because I thought we both weren't ready or I don't know. I thought you didn't see me that way."

"Why did you think that?" I chuckled.

"I don't know." He just shrugged and I shook my head, propping myself up so I was now centimeters away from his face. He lifted his hand up to my face, tracing my lips with his thumb before reaching in, our lips meeting each other. He cupped my cheek with his hand, pressing slightly on it as I felt his tongue slide across my bottom lip. I parted my lips, allowing him to explore my mouth. It felt as if this could go on forever. I breathed in deeply as we kissed, furrowing my eyebrows as I felt everything.  It wasn't long before I was on top of him, straddling his hips as his hand rested on my waist and mine on his face. I smirked to myself, pulling back on this kiss, but biting his lip to leave him wanting more.

"Oh really?" He raised an eyebrow and I smirked.

"Really." I simply said and he quickly flipped me over so I was on my back and I let out a squeal. I wrapped my arms around his neck, staring back up at him as he just stared at me.

"What, do I have something on my face?" I questioned and he shook his head, biting his lip.

"I think I really like you." He spoke and I could feel my heart melt at his words. Elijah isn't really the type of person to express his feelings or emotions, but when he does, you know it's true.
