I woke up to the sound of my phone vibrating like crazy next to me and I groaned loudly, turning over to grab it. I opened one of my eyes and saw the time to see it was around nine in the evening and I had missed a few calls and messages from Shawn. I furrowed my eyebrows and looked out the window to see that it really was night already. Did I really just sleep for seven hours?
I wiped my tired eyes and stretched my body out before calling Shawn back. After a few rings he answered.
"Hey, I haven't heard from you all day." He spoke and I put him on speaker as I chose some fresh clothes so I could take a shower.
I chuckled and responded. "Believe it or not, I just woke up from a seven hour nap."
"No shit." I heard him snicker and I laughed, nodding to myself.
"Yeah, I knocked out the minute I got home." I sighed and placed my clothes on the toilet in my bathroom.
"A lot of hard work I'm guessing."
"Believe me, I smell like an ash tray and death." I smiled. "I'll talk to you later I'm going to hop in the shower."
"Okay, love you."
"Love you too." I smiled and hung up, heading to my music and playing my playlist. I turned on the hot water and took off my dirty clothes, throwing it in the basket and hopping into the shower. I let the hot water rinse off the grime on my body and I instantly felt relaxed. I scrubbed my hair several times and shaved almost every bit of hair on my body. I finally got out of the shower after a few minutes and dried myself off, applying lotion and putting on a pair of shorts and a crew neck. I brushed out my wet hair and went downstairs to see an empty living room and kitchen.
I shrugged and walked to the fridge to see the Chinese left overs that they ate. I grabbed the box of noodles and fried rice, placing it in the microwave for five minutes. I scrolled through my phone and found nothing interesting so I turned on the tv to watch something on Nickelodeon. Before the microwave could go off I made a pot of coffee and I took the food out. I set it on a plate and grabbed my coffee, sitting on the couch as I watched ICarly.
I ate my food in silence, finishing quicker than I imagined and I cleaned everything up, turning off the lights before going back up to my room. I climbed back into bed, going on my computer and searching up ideas for the diner. I was up for a while, adding some things from websites into my cart, trying to imagine what the diner would look like. A girl can really dream.
I turned off the light and laid down, scrolling through my phone, finding it hard to fall asleep since I had already slept. I looked on instagram and saw Shawn liking posts so decided I facetimed him, only to see him in bed as well.
"You're still awake?" I asked him and he nodded, sighing into his pillow.
"Yeah, I keep thinking about tour and-" He hesitated.
"What hun?"
"I'm just nervous."
"About what? You have nothing to be nervous about babe."
"I'm nervous that things are going to change between us, I'm going to be gone a long time and I just don't want to lose you."
"Shawn why would you ever think that?" I furrowed my eyebrows, worried. He didn't respond and I sighed, getting out of bed to put on sweats and shoes.
"What are you doing?" He asked and I grabbed my bag, stuffing a change of clothes and heading downstairs.
"I'm coming over, I'll see you in ten okay?"
