I slowly opened my eyes, letting out a deep breath as I began to wake up. I looked up at my ceiling and stretched my body out, turning to my right to meet with Shawn's eyes. I gasped a bit, looking down to see his arm wrapped around me.

"Goodmorning." He smiled as his brown eyes scanned my face. He was shirtless, in my bed, and my body was still in a bit of shock. Shawn Mendes is shirtless, next to me, and now that I think about it, so am I. But this feels completely right. Being in the same bed as him and feeling his warmth felt so right.

"Goodmorning." I responded freely, a smile appearing on my confused face, and he pulled me in closer, my head resting on his chest so I could hear his heartbeat.

"I have never stopped loving you Nicole." He whispered and I looked up at him, looking into his eyes before connecting our lips. He prolonged the kiss, not wanting to stop as he soon began to hover over me, his hand gripping on to my waist while the other was pressed on my cheek.

"I love you." He breathed out and pressed his lips onto my neck, a slight moan escaping my lips.

My eyes shot wide open, a gasp leaving my mouth as I held my chest. It was a dream. It was a stupid dream. Another dream about Shawn, what are the odds? Except now, they're hook up dreams instead of break up dreams.
I looked over to my phone, still propped up on the pillow, but the screen completely black. He must've ended the call when he saw I was asleep. I grabbed my phone, checking the time to see it was seven in the morning and I had a text message from him that read, hope you sleep well, I'll see you tomorrow.

I found myself slightly smiling, getting up from bed and heading into the bathroom to do my business before walking downstairs so I could make myself a cup of coffee and sit on the porch out front with my computer on my lap.

I decided to spend most of the day in my pajamas, taking a me day and calling the homeless shelter to let them know I wasn't going to come in so I could write a bit for the website and later head upstairs to read in front of my window. I loved reading when I had time, it was just another way to escape from my daily routine.

"Nicole?" My mom knocked on my slightly opened door and I turned to see her.

"Yeah mom?" I set my book down on my lap and she smiled.

"We're going to go out to dinner, you're not coming?" She asked and I shook my head.

"What time is it?" I furrowed my eyebrows, not noticing how long I've been up here.

"Almost four." She responded and I closed my book, knowing that I had to get ready.

"Shoot, I need to start getting ready."

"Want us to wait for you?" She sat down on my bed.

"No it's fine, you guys go, I actually have dinner plans." I shook my head and placed a kiss on her cheek before walking into my closet.

"With Elijah?" She smirked and I chuckled, shaking my head.

"What makes you think that?" I stopped to look at her and she laughed.

"Well you guys are basically joined at the hip. Now don't get me wrong, I'm happy you found him. It seems like he makes you happy."

"He does, but I'm actually going to dinner with Shawn." I slowly spoke and her jaw dropped.

"Shawn? As in Shawn Mendes? You're seeing him again?"

"He just wants to keep catching up, and I need him to accept my amends." I shrugged and looked at my clothes, wondering what I was going to wear.
