After the park he actually invited me over to his house so we can chill out and talk for a little bit. I was hesitant at first, but later on he convinced me.

"But aren't your parents home?" I asked him as we got into his car.

"They went out because my sister was going to hang out with her friends." He smiled and started the ignition. We were on our way to his house and it actually wasn't too far from my apartment. We drove into an nice neighborhood, white picket fences and green grass. I was completely mesmerized. How do people live here, I mean even the smell is different compared to where I lived.

"You okay?" He asked. I guess he saw me staring out the window for too long.

"Yeah I'm fine." I smiled and we finally pulled up in front of a two story house.

"This is your house?" I was in awe.

"Yeah, come on." He said and we both got out of the car. We walked up the concrete walk way and Shawn opened the door to his house. My apartment was a cardboard box compared to his house. Everything was so clean and it felt so peaceful in a way. Shawn put down his small backpack and took off his shoes near the door as I continued to take everything in.

"You can take off your shoes you know."

"No it's fine." I furrowed my eyebrows and smiled afterward.

"Really, get comfortable, mi casa es su casa." He chuckled and I laughed as I shook my head. I took off my shoes and we then went upstairs into what looked like his room. He had at least three guitars hanging on the wall, a keyboard, and an acoustic guitar on a stand near his bed.

"Woah this reminds me of guitar center." I said and he laughed.

"You can sit down on my bed, I'm gonna go to the bathroom." He said and I chuckled.

"Okay." I smiled and he walked out of his room. I looked at his keyboard that was right next to his bed with a stool underneath it. I took out the small, black stool and sat down, staring at the keyboard for a second before I started to play it. I remember taking classes when I was in fourth and fifth grade. I started to play Bound To You by Christina Aguilera. Man, that woman can sing. As I started to play I began to hum and soon the humming turned into singing.

"What song is that?" Shawn came out of no where and I jumped.

"Sorry I didn't mean to touch your keyboard." I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Oh no it's fine." He chuckled."I didn't know you played piano."

"Then again you didn't know a lot about me." I shrugged and I sat down on his bed.

"What song was it?"

"Oh just a song by Christina Aguilera." I shook it off and fiddled my thumbs. "So what do you what to do?"

"I don't know, do you want to order some food, watch a movie?"

"What are we honestly doing?" I sighed and he furrowed his eyebrows.

"What do you mean?"

"Do you really like me?"

"Why do you ask that?" He said and he sat in front of me.

"How do I know that I'm not making another mistake?"I looked down."I'm not like any other girl and I know I might sound overdramatic, but my life isn't easy, it never was to begin with and I just don't want you to get tied into it. You have enough to deal with and you have everything going for you, me in the other hand I'm complicated as fuck."

"You're not pulling me into anything, I like you for who you are. Ever since I met you that night in the diner I can't stop thinking about you and it drives me crazy. You're so beautiful and I can't help it. We'll take it slow at first I promise." He smiled and held my hand in his.

"Okay." I slightly smiled."Lets watch a movie." We walked downstairs, hand in hand, and went straight into the living room. I sat down on the couch and he went into the kitchen to pop some popcorn and grab some candy. I looked at the the movies that were on Netflix and I found a movie that I loved. "10 Things I Hate About You."

"What'd you find?" He said as he placed the bowl of popcorn and M&Ms in front of me on the coffee table.

"10 Things I Hate About You." I smiled and he sat down next to. Suddenly he brought my legs on top his thighs and I wrapped my arms around him as the movie began to play. He threw his left arm over my shoulder and I could hear his heart beating fast.

"Why's your heart beating so fast?" I chuckled.

"Because I like you so much and somehow you make me nervous." He said and I looked up at him. He smiled widely and I pecked his lips. We continued to watch the movie, laughing and awing at the cute things they would do. After a while I looked at my phone to see what time it was and it was already nine.

"Shawn." I groaned and threw my head back.

"Yes?"

"I have to go." I frowned and he groaned.

"Why?"

"Because my brother's are home alone. I need a ride back to Starbucks because my car is there." I chuckled and he smiled.

"Okay, let's go."

I put on my shoes and Shawn grabbed his keys as we made our way out the door. We went outside into the dark, making our way to his jeep. He opened the door for me and I smiled as I got into the car. He ran to the drivers side and before I knew it we were on our way to the Starbucks. On the way there he held my left hand in his right one while listening to the radio. He began to sing and I just listened to his heavenly voice. If only life were like this everyday. It only took about  ten minutes and we arrived at the Starbucks. I took out my car keys as I made my way to my old, beaten up car. Shawn followed behind me, still holding my hand in his. I opened the door to the car and turned back around to say bye to Shawn.

"I'll text you." I smiled and he hugged me. He detached his arms from my body and placed a kiss on my cheek. I could feel the heat come up to my cheeks.

"Bye diner girl." He smiled and went back to his car.
