Chapter 34

Before we knew it, it was finally 2:30 and we left to pick up my brothers at their school. I gave Shawn the directions and we were there by the time it turned  3, patiently waiting for my two brothers to come out of school with their backpacks. I texted my brother that we were in Shawn's Jeep, parked in front of the flag pole. After waiting about ten minutes, they walked out, Jacob holding Hunter's hand while crossing the street. They got into the car and closed the door behind them. 

"Hey guys!" I smiled and looked back at the to see them put on their seatbelts. 

"Hey sis, hey Shawn." Jacob smiled. 

"Hi hermana, hi hermana's boyfriend." Hunter said and we laughed. 

"Hey my dudes." Shawn said and gave them each a bro shake. We left to my apartment and we decided that we would order Chinese Takeout since none of us wanted to make dinner. Once we arrived to the apartment the boys set their backpacks down and they ran to the couch to watch tv. I went into the kitchen and grabbed the phone number for the Chinese place. After they answered and I placed our orders, Shawn and I went upstairs to my room. 

He plopped down on my bed violently, making me laugh, and I grabbed my work jeans and polo before changing in front of him. 

"Damn I didn't know I was getting a show before my meal." He chuckled and I hit him with my shirt. 

"Oh shush, I was just too lazy to go into the bathroom." I said and I put on the polo before he grabbed me by the waist and pulled me onto the bed. 

"Jesus you are so beautiful." He said and kissed me. 

"Oh stop, I don't even have makeup on or my hair done." I rolled my eyes. 

"Hun, you don't any of that stuff, you're a natural beauty." He squished my cheeks. "Don't roll your eyes at me it's rude." 

I rolled my eyes once again making him raise his eyebrows. 

"Wow." He dragged and I chuckled before giving him a kiss. "You're lucky I love you diner girl." 

"Yeah I know." I smiled and went to put my dirty clothes in the hamper. 

"What are you going to do while I'm at work?" 

"I might either go hang with my friends or meet with Geoff and Andrew to work on some songs and talk about the tour." He shrugged. "What time do you get out?" 

"Most likely eleven, but if Mike wants me to take inventory or clean up he'll have me stay back until twelve." 

"That's so late." 

"I know, but I'm used to it." I shrugged. 

"If you want I can drop you off and then I'll pick you up?" 

"Shouldn't you stay at your house for once?" 

"Wow, do you not enjoy my company Nicole?" He scoffed and I snickered. 

"I didn't mean to be rude babe, but you haven't stayed at your house since you came." 

"No you're right, I have a meeting tomorrow too and I should probably let you go to school." He sighed. 

"I have this weekend off, maybe we can go somewhere or something." I shrugged. "We can get away for the weekend." 

"That's a good idea." He smiled. 

We chilled out for a bit watching tv and making out every once in a while before the clock had finally reached the time for me to go to work. Shawn grabbed his keys and I grabbed my things. Once we said goodbye to my brothers we walked out of the apartment and Shawn drove me to the diner, holding my hand the whole time.
