"Did you like your sandwich?" Shawn asked as he held my hand and we walked out of Jersey MIkes.

"Yes, thank you so much." I smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "So what do you want to do?"

"Well while we're here is it ok if I get gifts for my family members?"

"Yeah that's fine." I said and we walked towards the stores. I could see he was struggling a bit because every time we would walk in front of a store he would stare at things, but we wouldn't go in.

"Do you know what you're looking for?" I asked and he just shook his head.

"Yeah I have no idea."

"Who's gift are you looking for?"

"Well I just need my sister and my mom."

"Okay then what does your sister like?"

"Well she plays hockey and she is different from other girls. I remember she told me one time that she would love to have a game console."

"Then get her a game console and maybe something relating to hockey." I smiled and he nodded. "How about your mom?"

"Well I know she likes home decor, shopping, and Disney."

"So you should get her something cute like a disney picture frame with a picture of you and your family. Also maybe get her a nice vase or something?"

"That's a good idea, thank you." He smiled and pecked me on the lips. We went towards another store and Shawn went straight for the gifts. The store was a little pricy, but everything in it was so nice. Shit, if  I was alone I'd probably steal little things to sell them.

"I'll be right back, I think I see something my sister would like." He smiled and walked away. I walked around and I looked at the purses, necklaces, and even the nice shoes. Gucci, Coach, they even sold Marc Jacobs for Christ's sake. I looked around some more and that's when I saw it,  it was the prettiest dress I had ever seen. It was a beautiful sapphire dress that was long and didn't have a back. I couldn't take my eye off it. All I could think about is prom and how much I would kill to go. I looked at the price of the dress and nearly had a stroke. The freaking dress was $358.

"Find anything you like?" Shawn came up behind me, making me jump.

"Nah nothing at all, how about you?"

"Well I got the gifts, they're going to love them, thanks to you."

"I try my best." I shrugged and hugged him.

"So are you going to try on that dress?" He whispered.

"What?" I chuckled.

"Try it on, I saw you looking at it as if you wanted to marry it."

"First of all it is too expensive and second of all I'm probably never going to use it."

"Just try it on." He shrugged."What size are you?"

"Shawn."

"Nicole." He mimicked.

"I'm a size 8." I said and he searched for my size. He finally found it and handed it to me. we went straight for the dressing room and he sat in the chair in front of my dressing room.

"I'll be out in a second." I smiled and he nodded. I went in and closed the curtain behind me. I began to strip of my dull clothes and stared at the dress for a moment. I took the dress off the hanger and slipped it on.

"Holy shit." I muttered. I zipped the side up and placed my hair behind my shoulders.

"You ready?" Shawn said. I looked at myself one last time before turning around and opening the curtain. I looked at Shawn and he looked at me. He looked so surprised.

"It's bad isn't?" I bit my lip and he just shook his head.

"Hell no." He smiled. "You look amazing. Absolutely beautiful." He said and I looked down. I could feel my face turn crimson red and I heard him chuckle. He came closer to me and he turned me around so I was facing the mirror.

"You're beautiful, don't forget that." He said and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you." I smiled. "As much as I love this dress I can't afford it so let's go."

"Okay." He nodded and he closed the curtain. I changed into my clothes and after a few minutes we left to my apartment. The whole car ride there Shawn held my left hand with his right hand. He blasted music and he had his window down, letting in the cold breeze. It didn't take us long until we finally arrived at the complex.

"Wanna come in?"

"Sure." He said and he parked the car. We went upstairs up to my apartment and I opened the door to see my two brothers on the couch watching SpongeBob.

"Guys, say hi to Shawn."

"Hi Shawn." Hunter waved and Jacob just nodded his head. I rolled my eyes and took Shawn upstairs to my room.

"Sorry my room is a bit messy, but it's my bubble." I chuckled. "Take a seat." I grabbed some tights and a sweater from my dresser and went into the bathroom to change. After changing I came back out to see Shawn looking at my books.

"It's like a library here." He laughed and I smiled.

"I like reading." I shrugged.

"So what do you want to do?"

"Well do you want to help us set up Christmas decorations."

"Sure." He said and I opened my closet to bring out a small tub.

"Let's go." We went downstairs and Hunter jumped out of his seat to look at the box full of old decorations. I set the tub down in the corner of the living room and opened it to reveal the dusty Christmas decorations. Shawn and I sat down in front of it as hunter began to take out the small Christmas tree.

"This is your Christmas tree?" Shawn asked.

"Well not everyone is rich like you." I heard Jacob say and I shook my head.

"Jacob shut up." I scoffed. "Yeah it is, why?"

"No reason." Shawn shrugged and helped Hunter out. We too out every decoration and began to place them where we could. In the end we turned on the lights and sat around the small tree.

"Who wants hot chocolate?" I smiled and got up.

"Me." Everyone said.
