"So I have a proposition for you diner girl." He said and I looked up at the screen of my phone.
I furrowed my eyebrows before answering. "Good or bad?"
"Hmm depends."
"Oh lord." I chuckled and he shook his head.
"Look, just hear me out." He said and I sat up on my bed. "So I have been asked to do an interview and perform on the James Corden show while i'm here in LA."
"The British guy?"
"Yes the British guy." He chuckled. "His team also wants me to bring someone with me on the show to get an exclusive."
"Oh really? Who?"
"You."
"Oh."
"And don't get mad, but my management kinda said yes already." He spoke and I felt a shocked look go through my face.
"Oh." I raised my eyebrows. "Well I mean,"
"You don't have to say yes, I know you have work and school, but everything would be covered. You're brothers can even come."
"What day?"
"Well that's the thing, we'll fly you out tomorrow morning, the interview will be in the middle of the day and then you'll be back by Sunday night."
"Okay." I shrugged.
"Wait, okay?" He furrowed his eyebrows and I chuckled.
"Yeah, we can go." I smiled and his jaw dropped.
"For real?"
"Actually no, I have to go to New York with my other boyfriend."
"Haha very funny."
"Yes we can actually go, I don't work until Monday anyway." I nodded.
"I love you, so much."
I smiled and shrugged. "I know."
"I'll text them right now so they can book your flight."
"What should I pack?"
"Just your regular clothes, they'll have clothes in the dressing room of the studio for you to pick."
"Woah, cool." I raised my eyebrows.
"So what did you do today love?"
"I wasn't going to do anything, but Tanya wanted to go bowling. She wants us to go on a double date with her and Jason when you get back."
"That sounds like fun, I'm always down." He nodded. "So you just went with her?"
"No Jason and Adrian went too."
"Did you have fun?"
"I guess, I kinda just wanted to stay home though." I sighed. "And you? How was your day?"
"It was good. We went to the studio for a bit to record and dinner."
"That's good." I smiled.
"Are you okay baby?"
"Yeah, I guess I'm just exhausted, I've been out of it this whole week." I shook my head, blowing a puff of air out of my mouth.
"What do you mean?"
"I don't know lately I've been on edge. I haven't been sleeping, I feel like my heart is beating a mile a minute at times, and after I get so exhausted." I sighed. "I don't know, all I know is that I haven't felt this way since what happened to my parents."
