Chapter 35

I woke up to my alarm ringing and I could feel the drool falling from my mouth and onto my pillow. I turned off my alarm and took a deep breath in, it was finally Friday and I was able to see Shawn today after two days. I got up from bed and grabbed my clothes before walking into the bathroom. I stripped of my clothes and stepped into the warm water. I did what I had to do, drying myself and later putting my underwear and bralette along with my ripped jeans, a hoodie that was cropped, and some no show socks. 

I took the towel off of my head to reveal my wet hair and I began to comb it, brushing out all of the knots. I let it air dry and put some lotion on my face before putting on some chapstick. I grabbed my backpack and phone before going to my brother's door to knock so they would wake up. I walked downstairs and placed my bag down near the door before going into the kitchen to make some breakfast for all of us. 

I took out a pan and began to make some scrambled eggs and I placed some eggo waffles in the toaster. I placed the eggs and waffles on three different plates and later set them down on the table. Both of my brothers came downstairs and we sat down to eat our breakfast. 

"How come Shawn hasn't been here in a while?" Jacob asked and Hunter nodded. 

"Where's Shawn!" Hunter said, making us both laugh. 

"I told him to stay with his family since he has been here so much." 

"Oh makes sense." He nodded. "I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but I miss having the dude around." 

"Me too." 

"I think he's good for you Nicole." 

"Really?" 

"Yeah, you just seem happier and you know, better." He shrugged. "I'm happy for you sister." 

"Aww thanks brother." I said and ran my hands through his hair, messing it up a bit and making him groan. 

"Oh lord don't push it." He rolled his eyes and I gave him a kiss on the cheek. We finished eating breakfast and I dropped the off at their school before leaving to my school. As I stopped at a red light my phone began to ring. 

"Hello?" 

"Hey lover." Shawn said and a smile was plastered on my face. 

"Hey babe, what's up?"

"Nothing, I just wanted to say goodmorning."

"Goodmorning." 

"You ready for tonight?"

"Of course I am, are you?" 

"I'm ready to see your pretty face." 

"Me too." I said and we chuckled. 

"I'll be at your apartment around four if that's fine?" 

"That's perfect." I smiled. "Alright see you tonight, I just got to school." 

"Okay babe, love you."

"Love you too." 

I hung up the phone before parking my car and leaving to my first class. Luckily today I got out at 1:35 and my classes were short. I sat down at my desk next to Tanya and she gave me a warm smile. 

"Hey girl." 

"Hey, how was basketball practice yesterday?" 

"Great actually, coach is really taking a liking to me." 

"That's good!" 

"So are you going to the party tonight?" 

"I actually am, with Shawn. And you?"
