Once I got her into my car I buckled her seat belt and and made my way to the driver's seat. I started the engine and made my way over to her apartment, occasionally checking on her to see if she was fine. She looked out of the window constantly and I wondered what went through her head, especially if she was drunk.

"Ugh I have a headache." She groaned and I laughed as she held her head and rested it on my center console.

"That's what happens when you get wasted."

"I'm such an idiot."

"What?" I furrowed my eyebrows, looking down at her.

"I am a grade A idiot." She pointed to herself.

"No you're not Nicole, you're the smartest person I know."

"I am Shawn, regardless, I get drunk, I am immature, I put myself out there like a hoe, and I don't even know what the fuck I am doing anymore." Nicole explained and put her head down again

"You're not stupid, you're just human. We all make mistakes, but we learn from our mistakes." I rested my right hand on her head, trying to comfort her.

"Hmm I just want an easier life." She slurred and I frowned. I felt so bad. She has gone through so much stuff and I wish I could do something to help her. Maybe I can, but I had no idea what to do. It only took a couple minutes until we arrived in front of her apartment building  where I got out of my car and opened her door to help her out. I unbuckled her seatbelt and slowly let her down from the car.

"You're so nice Shawn." She giggled, holding onto me, and I walked her to the door.

"Do you have your keys?" I asked her and she stopped walking. She patted her jeans and finally took out her keys and stuck it in the door, unlocking it. I tried my best to walk her upstairs, but she kept fussing and tripping.

"Okay, Nicole I'm going to carry you." I warned her and she just nodded, giggling like crazy. I grabbed her legs and waist, carrying her bridal style in my arms. She wrapped her arms around my neck and nuzzled her head on my shoulder. I slightly smiled, feeling a sense of warmth to be able to have her in my arms, and we finally made it to her door. I put her down and she grabbed her keys, slowly opening the door. Once she opened the door I stood behind her and she hesitated to go in.

"Are you okay?" I asked and she turned around.

"Thank you Shawn." She smiled and hugged me. I hugged her back and when she let go we made eye contact, her arms still around my neck. She closed her eyes and reached in, trying to kiss me, but I stopped her

"Nicole, it isn't the right time." I calmly said, taking her arms in my hands, and she furrowed her eyebrows.

"Sorry, I'm an idiot, goodnight Shawn." She said and walked into her apartment, closing the door behind her.

"Damn it." I muttered. I felt like she is all I wanted, but right now wasn't the right time.

Nicole

"Hermana." I heard someone whispered. "Hermana!." I shot up and fell to the floor. I could feel a huge headache and I didn't want to open my eyes. I groaned and slowly got up from the floor. I finally opened my eyes to see my little brother tugging at my clothes from last night.

"What is it Hunter?" I groaned and went into the kitchen to get some pain meds. Hunter followed behind me and continued to tug on my clothes. "Hunter what do you want?"

"I'm hungry." He rubbed his tummy and pouted, making me let out a deep breath.

"Okay, go wake up your brother and I'll make breakfast." I slightly smiled. He went upstairs and I went to my room to wash my face and change into better clothes. I can't believe I actually fell asleep on the couch. I could remember the slightest things, the many many drinks I had consumed, the dancing, the grinding, I even remember Shawn. I fucked up. I can't believe I tried to kiss him, what the hell was I thinking? Especially when I told him that I couldn't. I'm completely stuck and I don't know what to do.
