"Thank you for the meal," Jia Xue bowed down politely, as they stood outside of the restaurant, where Caleb's limo was waiting.
Caleb had tried to postpone their parting, stretching the lunch-date as far as he could. But in the end, after seeing the discomfort beginning to wear the other man down, he had no choice but to call for the bill. As much as he wanted to spend time with this man, he knew that now is not the right time for this.
Mouth dropped open, eyes gaping, as the two men walked out of the restaurant side by side. The taller man, walking in a steady confident pace, emanating a magnetic manly aura whilst the man beside him, while at a disadvantage in the height department was clearly holding his ground, as he entranced people with his manly beauty and sexiness.
People are looking- Caleb thought, and it really took a toll on his willpower not to pull Jia Xue close and stamping his authority, telling people that this man is off limit. This possessiveness took himself aback for a moment, but then again, nothing really shocked him anymore. This man had the ability to make him feel all sorts of feelings. It was like, Caleb is discovering himself for the very first time. It was thrilling.
"It's my pleasure." Caleb smiled, "We will get in touch with Xin Medicinal Research Centre in a few days, to sign in the memorandum. How soon will you be able to start at our facility?"
Jia Xue thought for a moment, "Can I start early next month, if it isn't too much of me to ask?" He wanted to go back home first to tell his grandmother of the sudden change of plan.
Caleb calculated the days- of course he would like Jia Xue to start working at his facility, where he could see him all the time, as soon as possible but there is also the matter of preparing a lodging area for him at the facility. At the time being there is none.
So from now to next month- exactly 2 weeks, it would give him ample of time to do the renovation.
"It's a deal then,"
Caleb was very reluctant to get into the car. He had to drag his feet to walk in.
"Can I send you to your next stop?" He could not resist asking- even though he knew the other man would refuse, but he had to ask.
