Jia Xue looked at Caleb who hadn't moved an inch since he came.
Jia Xue had packed his clothes earlier and Caleb had taken the luggage to his car.
But to Jia Xue's surprise, Caleb didn't leave.
He hadn't gone back to his office. And he's now sitting at Jia Xue's office. Wearing a very long face.
"What's that all about?" Jin asked Jia Xue, seeing the look on their president's face.
"We heard, there was a commotion at the front gate, a man came looking for you.." Mr Hwang looked at Jia Xue asking for confirmation.
They'd heard about it from the Security personnel, about a man who came to see Jia Xue and had a confrontation with the president.
"Yes." Jia Xue reluctantly nodded.
"Hmm.." Mr Hwang looked at the president, "the president is alright?" They had never seen the president looking like that before, but then again they had never seen their president being this serious over anybody before.
Jia Xue looked at Caleb who been pacing in the office making several calls after he sat down and stared at Jia Xue for like an hour.
Caleb too; didn't know what to make of this and how to act in a time like this. He'd never seen Caleb acting like this before.
They'd been together for 6 months. And this is the first time that Caleb is being like this; demanding Jia Xue to be with him, and wanting Jia Xue in front of his eyes, 24/7.
It's like, he took Jason Guan's threat to heart. Jia Xue heard what Jason Guan had said to Caleb, about him taking away something from Caleb in retaliation.
But, surely Caleb knew that no matter what that man may have said; Jia Xue will never agree to it.
So, why is Caleb so affected by that man's threat?
"The man's name is Jason Guan..His father is Guan Chen Ji.." Caleb said, looking at Mr Hwang, "does the name rings a bell?"
"Guan Chen Ji???" Jin gasped.
Jia Xue turned to look at him. Knowing for sure that there's something he's missing here.
Mr Hwang gave Jin a warning look, then looked at Jia Xue apologetically.
"I think you better ask the president about him." He said, "he's the one who's supposed to tell you everything.."
Jia Xue blinked, yes. Mr Hwang is right. If he wanted to know anything he should just ask Caleb. His lover.
Jia Xue then walked determinedly to the office where Caleb is.
"Caleb.."
Caleb saw Jia Xue coming towards him and he braced himself to give the necessary explanation.
