Purple and black.

That's the theme of the wedding. And Mrs Wang and Caryn were out of control with their ideas to make the wedding the wedding of the year.

"The flowers should be a blend of lavender, orchids, bell flowers, anemone and roses." Mrs Wang said. Right now, they're on the subject of flowers; which could represent the purple theme the best.

"In all the places?" Caryn asked incredulously, "mother..we shouldn't just put all the purple flowers in one clump everywhere...!"

"Well..that's Jia Xue's favourite colours. So, of course...we're going to use them.."

"I know.." Caryn sighed exasperatedly, "I know Jia Xue loved purple...but we don't have to use all the purple flowers in the world though.."

"And why not? If we can't find them here..we can always buy them online and get the flowers sent in here by plane.." Mrs Wang was adamant about her decision.

"Mother..it's not about whether they're available here or not..this is about how they would look..!"

Her mother seemed to think that using as many flowers as she possibly could would be the best choice. Caryn knew though that it's all about the flower arrangement; and not the amount of flower types you use.

And so, here they are. Mother and daughter arguing amidst the upside down hall, about the flowers they should use for the wedding.

Madam Wang and Mrs Yin took one look at the chaos the other two women were making and both of them decided not to take any part in it.

"We will be at the garden enjoying the flowers there while having tea, daughter in law." Madam Wang informed, as she lead the slightly confused Mrs Yin from the hustle and bustle in the hall.

"Alright mother in law...Let us do this...you ladies just rest..." Mrs Wang smiled hurriedly and faced her daughter just as quickly.

"Jia Xue grandma..Sorry, I couldn't keep you company from now on.." Caryn hugged Mrs Yin, apologetically. She'd been keeping Mrs Yin company for two weeks now, enjoying Mrs Yin extended knowledge about fruits. She's suddenly inspired to produce her next line of jewellery inspired by China's traditional fruits.
